Well Hammer all we can do is HOPE that if they do resign Cano & pick up McCann, that they don't stop there. We'll see.
agreed... and I'm not saying that the Yankees brass shouldn't try to compete... I just don't see any quality pitchers on the market which we'll desperately need, a 3Bman of value, SS back up plan in case Jeter can't come back, 1B back up plan in case Tex sucks again, and what to do with that OF... that is assuming Cano AND McCann are already in the fold at that point...
I have work to do, I'm not sitting here all day posting. I'd like to have McCann, but I just think NY has too many other holes to fill and with good young catchers in the system they won't invest big in this position, and McCann will be big, I think he'll get more interest than Cano, do you guys want him over Cano? there you go.
Can those good young catchers you speak of produce in a position that we drastically need help in now?..........allow me.......NO! And as far as signing Cano or McCann, why does it have to be either or? the Yankees will have more then enough money to do both.
...wtf does signing Cano have to do with acquiring McCann?...the two are not mutually exclusive. ...now, if you truly have "work to do", please get back to it, because you're dangerously close to replacing pasta as the resident pinata.
