Damn.....Taiwan's gotta step it up with the basketball now that China's got 4 NBA ballers lol. Oh well Taiwan'll prolly never have a NBA player =/ We got them in baseball lol.

I don't see this Yi dude doing any damage in the NBA at least until he's 2 or 3 years into the league. I don't really know anything about him and I'm sure most of you guys don't because I'm sure you guys haven't seen much of him. But I'm pretty sure his potential is one like American high schooler ballers(need a few years to develop but the first few years are bench warmers).

Yi Jianlian has actually backed out of the draft this year.

iversonfan3, if Yi does come into the league, I think he will get the playing time in his first season. Maybe his season won't be as good as Yao's, but he won't be a Darko Milicic. His shotblocking and perimeter game is already very developed, he just needs to get stronger and be more dominant in the low post.

Man I want to see this kid actually play....I have just read scouting reports all of which are sounding extremely good....

Are you kidding? He is like 15 years old and he already is really good!

Actually, he's at least 18 now. There's been some rumors about Yi's true age, and he could be anywhere from 18 to 22 right now. However, there's no real proof backing it up so it should be assumed Yi is 18.

Yao Ming is China's best player by far and what has he really accomplished since being drafted... he's not a leader he lacks aggression/heart and his team is out of the playoffs. I doubt this Jin guy is any better
