Ariza's a great player, but his ceilings nowhere near as high as Yi's. After losing Darko, I don't see why Orlando wouldn't do that trade. They got their starting swingman in Rashard anyways. I actually like that Thornton for Yi trade VC proposed a little while back. I doubt it happens, because Milwaukee seems intent on keeping Yi but it makes a lot of sense for both teams.
