One thing I do know is the reps don't know $hit about the Blazers.

 

I've had Frontier FIOS for years, which has let me watch the Blazers games. I also travel a lot and use the HBO GO, Sho Anytime, FX Now, etc. to keep up with my premium cable shows when I'm away from home.

Does Sony View provide that same level of portability, or is tied to a specific IP address? I have a ChromeCast and would take that with me when I travel if it would allow me to watch all my channels/apps on the road.

 

It has portability.

 

We had dropped down to Internet only about a year ago, but have otherwise been Comcast customers for years.

 

Thanks. I spend quite a bit of time in another state, and we don't have cable there, just internet. Between Netflix, HBO GO, Sho Anytime, etc. that's more than enough. I just don't want to have to pay for two accounts when I can't be two places at once. I want my content to follow me, not be locked into a specific location. That's such a 90s mindset/business model.

Does that rate change after some time?

 

12 months and my wife told him after 12 months were dropping down to Internet only again so he better come with another deal.
