The Jets were better then the Bills in weeks 1-5.

We're a better team now - you guys - just like the national media just can't stand to give the Bills any respect - well guess what - we're back and I don't see us going away for a while.

WE WILL BE IN THE PLAYOFFS.

In fact, if the Bills don't make the playoffs this year - you guys can ban me for a month - how does that sound - and if we do make the playoffs - all the naysayers have to have a sig of a Bills player demonstrating his greatness.

    You guys in or what?

You are talking like the Bills are the only team that doesn't get "respect".

To earn respect you have to make the playoffs, win a division, maybe a SB will help [IMG] and repeat the process over and over.

The defense may be respected but I doubt Ray Lewis is going to respect some young first year starter in JP Losman. If Losman plays decent this year they might get a WC and be dangerous next year but there is a chance he ends up a BUST. It happens often in the NFL.

hey Jets1083 - we SHOULD have been in the playoffs last year - we SHOULD have been able to afford to lose that last game to pittsburgh - if you ever get a chance to watch the Bills-Raiders game - tell me that Travis Henry didn't get screwed by the refs out of a TD that would have given us the W and thus with the rest of our season's performances made that last game meaningless for us as far as whether or not we got into the playoffs - we would have been in.

Oh yeah, that also would have meant that WE OWNED THE TIE BREAKER OVER YOU GUYS FOR THE FIRST WILDCARD.

    Choke on that.

Choke on what? You DIDN'T get in the playoffs...you DIDN'T beat a team resting their starters in the last game of the season..Your defense DIDN'T make the plays when it was the biggest game for the bills in a long while...so SHOULDA COULDA WOULDA...be ready for a step back with a first year QB...how dissapointing is that gonna be? LOL

The 2003 panthers were way underated. People expected them to make it to 8-8 in 2003. And in the Playoffs all the nfl anlyst projected the panthers to get blown out by the best show on turf and the Eagles. But they made it to the superbowl.

Heres something for you to choke on....the Bills have finished last in every season since the merger....WHAT? you say...but didnt they go to the Super Bowl 4 times? yep, and they lost....this is the damn NFL....either you win it all, or you lose like everyone else.....there are no moral victories here....if you're a Patriots fan, you can walk around yelling, "Scoreboard" at anyone that gives you grief, if you're not, your team tied with everyone else for last place....

To follow up what Beef said & with sincere apologies [IMG] to the Eagle fans, 2nd place is just 1st loser.

btw i just wanna tell u the Jets were a kick away from an AFC Title game with a Pats. While Pennington was playing with a bad injury behind center. A game that they had a chance idk u never know. Nobody gave em a chance vs the Steelers and they should have won. So if ur saying that the Jets werent qualified for the playoffs over the Bills think again because they were. And to tell u the truth everyone in New York despite the Bills late run wasnt worried about the Bills at all when we knew u were playing the Steelers in the last game. So uhh choke on that?

I wish you guys won...the the game would have been at gillette and I would have been able to go!!! I agree you would have had a chance...but in Gillette..it wouldn't have been much of a chance. It would have been fun though to have an all AFC east championship game.

to say you don't worry about anything on gameday is just total BS.

the dolphins illustrated the point I'm trying to make during a game they played on a monday night in their bright orange jerseys.

Woulda shoulda coulda my @$$ - I will not back down from the fact that Travis Henry was robbed of a CLEAR TD against the Raiders that WOULD have given us the victory. And by the way - the refs gave you sorry Jets a game too a few years back when they gave Richard Simmons - I mean Vinny Testaverde a TD when he CLEARLY didn't make it into the endzone with the ball breaking the plane of the goal line against the Seahawks.

You shouldn't have to apologize for your schedule, and you shouldn't have to apologize for pointing out that the Refs in the NFL clearly aren't flawless.

thats fine if you want to bring that up, but if your gonna use that to make a point, I think its also important to note that they were a 40 yard FG away from losing in the wild card round....in this league, what goes around comes around....they lost a game when thier kicker missed a very makeable kick, but the week before, they won after the Chargers kicker missed a very makeable kick....so you could say just as easy that they were a kick away from being out in the wild card round....

I have to agree w/ tko on that.

The reason they gave Vinnie the TD was to screw Miami which it did.

I know it scared me too. I think we are safe from the apocalypse until Philly & Dallas fans as well Denver and Oakland fans start seeing eye to eye.

When the Bills played the Steelers and people knew that the Bills needed to win to get in i dont think a lot of people really were worried. It was just peoples reaction. Also what does the refs giving the Jets a TD to vinny or not giving a TD to Henry have anything to do with anything. I think we all know that refs make mistakes and they are human. But what happened happened. The fact is i dont think the Bills are gonna sweep the Jets or make the playoffs for that matter. We are talking about this season. Not blown calls in the past years
