Why does Atlanta want to throw away 8 mil in cap space for Harkless? Prince is an expiring as well and a much friendlier contract if they choose to move him before the season or before the deadline.
He has regressed but I think it's more due to playing for a poor team. He was a good defender as a rookie, and playing in Portland should help him get back to being solid. He has the tools.
What. Is. With. The. "This and that is too soon! Wrong Timing!" stuff... And why do you have to randomly give him shit for OKC? Last year you thought we'd beat NOP. So what?
Guess i'm the only one that wants Curry back. I really like him. Great instincts and can man up on D.
Love Hood too. Different positions. How much will each demand in the offseason? Do you feel Curry can be a starter somewhere?
Curry could start on a bad team, not a playoff one (unless it was a team desperate for perimeter help like Detroit). Curry will probably demand $6M-$8M. Hood will demand $8M-$10M
Dont take this as me trying to pick a fight, but I kind of think Curry could start for a really good team. It took him a while this year to get back into a rhythm after his injury, but he’s more than a shooter to me, he’s solid defensively too. His problem is he’s not really a point guard. He might be best as a 6th/7th man guy, but (and you did mention this!) in the right situation he can be really good.
He said the season is over. It is too soon for that and it’s disrespectful to the players and coaching staff.
Get me Prince's from the year before. Ive seen him play and I guaranter hes a better sedender than Layman.
LMAO I don't know if I'm laughing because your post was super funny or because I'm trying not to cry since it's true and hits right in the feels. Probably both.
it was -1.72 so not remarkably better I'm sure he's a better defender than Layman; I'd say Jake got a big bump this year because he started 33 games and spent plenty of time on the floor with Nurkic and the first unit the issue I have with that trade idea of yours that you've pushed several times is that if Prince is a "big upgrade" AND much cheaper than Harkless, Atlanta would have no interest at all in that trade..they'd hang up the phone. Besides that, Atlanta already has 5 picks in this draft and their GM has said he doesn't want any more.
Break it up. The Warriors have Broken this team. Only guys you dont trade probably Dame and Nurkic. Everyone else should be available, and its probably time for a new coach too, because I think its obvious that Stotts is part of the group broken by GS...
Changes? Brah. Portland next year will be as follows. Lillard CJ Harkless ET Nards(Until Nurk is healthy) Rando vet min guard Hood Layman Aminu Collins Once Nurk is back Nards will ride the bench until he's traded to Philly or the 2020 offseason. If it's anything other than this. I will be shocked.
