Y'all forgot about the game when all the fans threw the Bill Walton dolls on the court. That was a great fucking game.

    Also, don't forget this:

not to nitpick, but Darius was resigned not extended. Nash defenders/blowhards claimed Paul Allen mandated this resigning to spread the blame for the disaster that was, but they pulled that from where the sun don't shine.

Things were rock bottom when KP took over but through good decisions things quickly turned around. I'm sure some here wish they could still text the GM and have him get back to them in 5 minutes, hopefully watching the team in the playoffs will make up for it

Donaghy wasn't cheating when that happened, or so goes the story. Not taking that into account strikes me as odd, and condoning Rasheed's actions at all also strikes me as odd.

Ain't that the truth. But then I'm always surprised by the lengths that some people will go to defend Wallace.

We still had to field a team here, and no way were we going to lure any free agents since I imagine we were way over the cap, even if we let Theo, Darius and Zach walk. The only way we would stay somewhat competitive was to re-sign some of the players who Nash thought was our core and were already here.

Also, he did do several money-saving moves. He traded Bonzi for Wes Person, he let Damon's contract and SAR's contract waste away. We had cheap players like Charles Smith starting for us at SG one year.

Still doesn't excuse Nash's incompetence of drafting Martell over Paul/Deron, but he was still put in a tough situation I believe.

I don't know who here said "CTC baby, CTC" but if that doesn't exemplify the whole era, I don't know what does.

This thread would be laughable if it weren't true. Well, it is laughable...now.

I watch that a couple of times every time it gets posted here, the thrill never dies.
I was there for that game, had unusually good seats too.

can't forget about Qyntel getting pulled over, stoned out of his mind, car reeking of marijuana. And then handing the officer a trading card because he didn't have his license. haha

Towel incident/JR and the coke can/Damon and the tinfoil/Rasheed's shitty attitude in general. I'm forgetting, What did Sabas do again that got Sheed to throw the towel in his face?

Anyone else see this graphic made by someone on BlazersEdge, showing ALL of the transactions over the last decade. It's pretty nuts. You can navigate through it like a googlemap.
