Has Burgerville gone down in quality or has my expectations increased because of the price I'm paying? Just doesn't seem like I'm getting what I'm paying for.

That's what I've said about Andy's Frozen Custard (expensive), but MAN is it good!! (I don't think they're in Oregon, though.)

Nah, this started well before some of the restaurants went union.

Right around the time they took away the Mocha Perk Shake.

I loved the mocha perk shake.

Chocolate and caffeine in ice cream. DEE-LISH-US!

The old school ones are better. Mad the one on Canyon Road closed.

They put a more upscale version by my parents house, mainly a to-go one, on Scholls Ferry Road and its never as good.

No, that's the one that closed. I think its a butcher shop now or some shit?

I made a special trip for one last meal there, just like I did with Golden Crown down the street!

You work fast food in high school?

I worked at Wendy's for like a year. Wasn't bad. The square meat patty making machine was a trip.

I worked at Sbarro at Washington Square mall food court. Was surprised how much of their stuff was made fresh.

Same as Wendy's. I was surprised.

I had friends who worked at McDonald's, everything comes in premade and frozen. We'd go camping at they'd just walk out with boxes of frozen burger patties and other stuff that we'd reheat on the campfire. Actually tasted better.

Just swung through Carl's Jr, and I'm not very satisfied with this double Western. Crisscut fries are still great though.

I usually go with the Famous Star. I liked the $6 burger back in the day.

That’s my go to, with two tacos. Out here we have Hardee’s, which is like a Carl’s Jr. sister restaurant. Their sourdough Frisco burger is bomb.

Sbarro was S-Tier Washington Square Food Court, right up there with Greek Gyros.

Dammit I had written that and changed it last second because my memory was bad.

First Gyros Gyros I has was in Medford in the late 80s... Klamath Falls never had anything that good. When I saw it at Washington Square after we moved to Beaverton I was obsessed and it was all I got for like a year any time I went.

As for burgers, I think McMenamins should count because there's like 20 of them here and they all serve the same basic burgers. I miss Fuddruckers but if I had one now I'd probably die.

Yeah, my buddy worked there too. My first experience with eating middle eastern well...mediterranean food, its like a gateway drug. It was so exotic back in the 90s lolz
