All time: Derrick Thomas- He broke pretty much every Chiefs defensive record and is a LEGEND. He was the best LB in his era(for those who didn't watch football in the '90s). He was always my favorite, it's just a shame that he died in a car accident. Now: Larry Johnson-In my opinion, he had the BEST season for any RB in the league last year, hands down. He's got attitude, power, speed, finesse, he is just the complete package. He will be a pro-bowler for years to come.

He'll probably still be a good player, but his dominance was a product of the Chiefs offensive line more then anything else.My favorite playersAll-Time: Wayne Chrebet, the guy just embodied everything that a professional athlete should be about. One of the hardest working, class-acts the league has ever seen. Came up huge in the clutch and always seemed to make the big play. The league needs more people like Chrebet.Current: Jonathan Vilma, Young superstar in this league. Also been a student of the game, one of the hardest workers out there and a class-act on and off the field. I expect him to emerge as one of the top Middle Linebackers in the league under Eric Mangini and the new defense.

Clinton Portis or Barry Sanders.Barry because I loved his game, and the amazing stuff he could do with the football. I also like Portis because he's a very good player, and has an extremely good sense of humor off the field.Another guy I like is Vince Young. Hell, Vince Young is one of my favorite players in the NFL. He's the one player that most people would label "Most Likely Bust" and has to prove them wrong. Plus a childhood story of his is sort of sad, but the irony of it makes it somewhat funny. For those who don't know, Vince was asked to demonstrate safe biking for a saftey video. So he was riding down the street and turned a corner, but got hit by a car and had to get tons of stiches and what not. Anyway, sort of ironic that happened during the situation.

Well I have a couple, and since I haven't been watching football for that long, the players are still playing..Michael Strahan. This guy has unbelievable skill. They say speed kills? Well guess what..strength kills too. And Mike has both. Even at his age right now, he can still make Pro Bowls no problem. He has consistently put up big numbers (when healthy) and will let you know how much he wants it when he hits you so hard and so fast you wonder what day it is. He has a great personality off-the-field and always can make people around him laugh. But when he is on the field, he is as serious as stone. He is the locker room and field general. And he still helps hold down the fort in New York.Jeremy Shockey. I dont care what anyone says, this guy is a straight up beast. He has it all. Speed, Strength, Athleticism, and heart all wrapped in one. He is always a threat to even the toughest defenses, and gives defensive coordinators migranes. And when he runs you over and walks into the endzone, oh he'll let you know. He is a guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. Normally Im not a guy to talk trash a lot, but when Shockey taunts or starts barking at a player, I smile or give a cheer. Why? Because it shows that he is here to play. No matter how much you despise the guy, you gotta love his passion for the game. And you gotta respect his skill. I think once its all said and done, he will be remembered as one of the greatest TEs of all-time.

Pretty close to what Steve McNair did in SB34. I don't have a clip of it, but I'm sure there's one out there somewhere. 30-something seconds left, he's flushed out of the pocket and is about to be taken down by Kevin Carter & a DT when he breaks free and completes like a 20-yard pass. The Titans announcer had already pronounced him sacked when Mac9 pulled away.BTW, fav player of all-time is Steve McNair [IMG]

As someone above said, I cannot limit myself to one. There is almost a 3 way tie between Cris Carter, Barry Sanders, and Robert Smith.Cris Carter- Just an amazing reciever period. He made amazing catches and basically kept the Viking offense alive when in need.Barry Sanders- I just loved him when I was little. I couldn't stand the fact at how good he was when I saw him play. The first game I ever saw him play was against KC in about 1996.Robert Smith- Same as Barry Sanders, but maybe the greatest of all time. Smith and Sanders both took out on short careers that could have been record breaking careers, but Robert Smith accomplished so much in his reign. I think he may be my favorite, but I can't say more than Barry Sanders.

I second Strahan and ChrebetChrebet - was a fan favorite no matter his play. Best 3rd down reciever ever. Ended his career with his 9th concussion, on a play to convert a 3rd down in the 4th quarter of a playoff...jumped and got unloaded on..held on the ball....Strahan - truly a legendary player, will retire as a top10, maybe top 5 DEs and sack artists of all time...and did it all with a smile...incredible personality, and a tremendous sense of humor

Haulen' Young in, Shippen' McNair out. It's gotta happen sometime. It's like in the movie Toy Story when Woody gets replaced by Buzz Lightyear.

LJ just explodes through 5 defenders. But you're still right, without that line, he couldn't walk in the endzone like that.

Considering I'm a WR guy and the Ravens never really had any great WR's aside from Derrick Mason (please break that drought of WR---Mark Clayton and Demetrius Williams) here I go:Favorite Player of All Time- Jerry Rice, the greatest WR to ever play the game. Holds most of the WR records for the NFL. He was just dominant, had a great work ethic, a great guy, amazing hands, anyone who wants to be a WR just watch game film of Jerry Rice.-Honorable Mentions: Torry Holt and Marvin Harrison.Favorite Current Player- Ed Reed, one of the best Safety's in the NFL. One of the hardest hitters, very fierce competitor. Has great hands (see 04' led the league with 9 INTs). Was awesome at the U and is still Awesome now.-Honorable Mentions: Ray Lewis, Jamal Lewis, Larry Johnson, Derrick Mason, Mark Clayton.
