Even with his uneven play he is averaging a double-double on the season, has the 3rd most in the league, and a per of 20 plus.

So while I think you can find some guys to do that, the list is very small.

This ... except for calling for Olshey's head, every day in this forum ... just every other day.

No hate, it would just be a huge waste of money to spend 7-10 million dollars on a backup 4 given the other needs on this team.

I know. We really do need to use that money to get a backup 4.

Yeah, fuck starting center or finding a competent backup shooting guard or point guard. 10 million for a backup power-forward sounds rad.

    MAX CONTRACT SOUNDS BETTER BRO.

At about $7m a year I'd be ok with it considering his age, production, etc.

    My reaction would be disappointment.

I believe as soon as JJ signs a big contract he will check out mentally more often than he does now, we won't see the high effort moments, and he'll become a useless player.

If Neil Olshey can't move JJ by trade deadline or he thinks that JJ will resign with the Blazers for a minimum deal when it's obvious that other teams will offer him more, I will question Paul Allen when he said that Olshey is a GM with the "Golden Gut."
