Pinoy the other white guy is Mike breen, I think he's a pretty good announcer. I don't know what you guys think but he does the ESPN and ABC games and I think he's a talented announcer.

He got some honor like 3 years ago... hah. Only difference is that Hearn was in LA but McCoy is the best. If Arizona made up as many awards as California did then he'd have them too. [IMG]I just checked but he's been there for 34 years and missed 1 game due to illness in 2004 but he's still alive!

Yeah we have mike breen, clyde, gus and kenny. gus and kenny are my favorites because kenny is the knowlegable one and gus is the passionate one. kenny smith knows the game and I enjoy his comments during the game, 49 cent haha.

Jack Armstrong does the Raptor NBA TV games, and Leo Rautins does the other games.Chuck is awesome. He brings energy + excitement to the games, and it wouldnt be the same experience without him. I like Jack more than Leo. Jack knows what he is talking about. Leo doesn't all the time. Leo always rambles on about things, and doesn't have the same energy that Chuck has. Chuck and Jack are a better combo.Jack always has strange words for things. When someone makes a jumpshot, he goes "_____ knocking down the jimmy". Lol. He's from Brooklyn too, so he has a New York accent. Whenever the Raps block a shot he says "Get that garbage outta here". Lol, he's a pretty entertaining dude.</div>I love Chuck, hes a bit too hyper sometimes, but my favourite is Leo very very very very high basketball high IQwho is the guy who named DWade Flash? I love that guy, and the nba all star announcing team is my all time favourite team. the TNT guyd, cant get enough of them

sean elliot is a good commentator but that other dude we have sucks, we used to have dick stockton, I didn't like him at all...and we had lance blanks and he was pretty damn horrible.....so sean is the only spurs commentator I've ever liked lol

I always wondered why Sean Elliot stopped doing ESPN games. Did he get fired? or did he just quit or something?

    Re: Your team's announcers

I don't think it matters if your a announcer for a certain team. I mean look at Breen he does the knicks and he's a national announcer, then look at Marv he does the nets but he also does natl Tv games. I think most of the Natl tv announcers are announcers for a certain team also. I guess Elliot diden't want to do both or something.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (CelticBalla32 @ Nov 24 2006, 12:42 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>Mike Gorman and Tommy Heinsohn are awesome, I love them. Tommy is the most biased person ever, but he's still entertaining. He does know what he's talking about, he was a very successful player and coach, and he is a funny dude. He yells at the refs all the time "That was a terrible call! Terrible call!" haha. But I love him.Gorman is the professional. He's a good guy, a great play-by-play announcer, he rarely messes up. I like Mike. But the thing I love the most about these two is the chemistry they have. They are great friends and they have been calling Celtics games together for 25-26 years. That's amazing. The day I watch a Celtics game and I don't hear Mike & Tommy, I don't know what I'll do lol. It just wouldn't be the same without them.</div>You left out the fact that Tommy gives out "Tommy Points". I think its the funniest thing everytime he does. One time, Scabs made a good effort to save the ball from going out of bounds, but he couldnt. And Tommy goes "Ill give him half of a Tommy point". It was hilarious. But I guess Sean Elliott is ok. He can be biased at times but what announcer isnt?

I remember a few years ago it was around the holidays I think and Tommy really got on the officals, I remember seeing it on ESPN and Tommy said the refs were terrible that game and at the end of the game TOmmy ask some questions and the refs said have a marry christmas or something but in a rude way.

    Re: Your team's announcers

I usually skip watching the Suns games and listen to McCoy complain about the stupid stadiums that are selling courtside seats and moving the radio/tv announcers way up in the stands."Well here we are, at the Delta Center, way way up in the stands..." [IMG] He keeps harping on that. It's hilarious.

The heats announcers are ok, Eric Reid and Tony Foreintino or how ever you spell his name, they can be annoying but I have started enjoying listening to themThe Nets announcers are pretty good with Mark jackson who gives good basketball knowledge and is etusastic, Marv Albert and Ian eagle.
