Before that I think the last time was in like, 92 or 93 in the first round where LA took a 2-0 series lead but lost the series 3-2.

    The Lakers are rivals with just about every Western Conference team in the league. Of course LA's 28 Western Conference Championships kinda stand as a reminder as to who is on top. But, none of those rivalries compare to Lakers/Celtics. It sucked at first for LA, but it definately got better. And Piston fans don't have the slightest clue what a good fight is, the Lakers and Celtics always had the best brawls.
