Arsenal beat Chelsea to sign Feyenoord's Ebecilio Arsenal have beaten Chelsea to the signing of Dutch Under 17 international Kyle Ebecilio, according to RTV Rijnmond. The 16-year-old midfielder will join from Feyenoord on July 1st. Ebecilio, a strong and powerful attacking midfielder, has been strongly linked with a move to Chelsea in recent weeks, but a reported last minute move from the Gunners has seen them seal the deal, much to Feyenoord’s dismay. I doubt he signs with Arsenal, if he does he'll be loaned out shortly after because i think the kid is ready for first team football somewhere.
From what I hear, this guy is a pretty good player, and looks a bit like Tevez (in that picture). I wonder if he'll be ready for first-team action at Arsenal. If he does sign, I'd like to see him get loaned out to an English club. If we're getting youth signings, I'd rather see them in the back. Gibbs and Nordveit are the only notable defenders we have coming up the ranks.

Arsenal making checks on Osei Arsenal are looking into the legal aspects of a possible deal for former Fulham midfielder King Gyan Osei, before deciding whether to pursue an offer, according to SkySports and sources in Ghana. The 21-year-old defensive midfielder is a free agent after being released by Fulham due to complications with his work permit. Osei joined the Cottagers ahead of Manchester United from the prestigious Hearts of Oak Academy in 2007. After having an application for a visa turned down, he was sent to Belgian outfit Germinal Beerschot on loan for three seasons. He has been regularly returning for training sessions in which Roy Hodgson has been notably impressed.
