Aren't we already assuming Zach had some kind of labrum tear as well? You don't do surgery on a dislocated shoulder. You do surgery on any muscles/tendons that were torn as a result of the dislocation.
Dwight Jaynes says torn labrum on TV just now. Says the Best case scenario is return for playoffs but wont know until they are un surgery
yea we need a nice return for Zach because dame isn’t getting younger to wait on the development of Zach then getting the rust off after returning from that injury

I was really wanting to see his progression this year. This season almost feels pointless now because we aren't good enough to make the playoffs. We'd have a chance with nurk and zach.
Given our struggles on defense, missing Zach and Nurkic for most of the season with a packed West does seem like you need to make a trade or just ride it out, hope you get the 8th seed and then be the team nobody wants to play in the first round.
Honestly, I wish they would bring up Moses and give him a shot with some back up minutes. I don't see where the defense that this team desperately needs is going to come from. Test Moses with some backup minutes, get Baze more minutes, not sure about the rest. It's easy to say teams just had a great night shooting, but why do they always have it against the Blazers?
Zach had surgery today. Reevaluated in 4 months - early March. Probably won't play until playoffs. Sucks.
The key for him is to strengthen the muscles around it. That was my PT regimen after my dislocation as I opted not to have surgery. Make sure he won't pop it out again. That said, it's better that this is his off arm. He can keep conditioning in the pool and work on righty Mikan drills.
We just have to hope we can stay afloat until Zach and Nurk get back. Either that or tank. I'm fine with either.
