Says the guy who makes declarations about players before they've ever even played an NBA minute (wabc)
No, Im curious about all this secretive experience that you never come clean on. Years of study? Where? For who?
Okay, but on the serious. If you are not willing to divulge where this years of study came from, then I would suggest not using it to back up your claims. It looks like an empty claim and derails your opinions. You will just be mocked.
Then why post anything at all? man you are a piece of work. lol. Im trying to help you build cred to your opinions and you just derail yourself... There you have it people. Mediocre has not a clue what he is talking about. Take his opinions with a grain of salt even though he is right based on his years of study.
Doesn’t matter if he is ready until Stotts is gone. Stotts may be one of the worst coaches I’ve seen. This team is fucked until he is outta here - frankly, we are vastly underperforming relative to our talent. Our talent is what makes Stotts look ‘ok’ from afar. If we didn’t have a relatively well built roster, Stotts would’ve been canned years ago. Poor development, poor rotations, looks absolutely clueless in the playoffs, and stubborn defensive philosophy. His offense also has stagnated. Also tries to turn everyone into a 3pt shooter. I haven’t seen him properly use a single player consistently. Additionally, CJ should’ve been playing much more than he was while we tried to develop him. Which brings me to my final point... Stop developing players in practice only. Neil has said it and it’s clear Stotts lives it. Game experience will make them grow way more than PRACTICE. WE TALKING BOUT PRACTICE? Dame was lucky that he got to play since day 1. Same with D Mitch. Get the bumps and bruises out of the way, watch yourself on tape, get abused and learn from it.
Based off of players irrelevant to the subject at hand. Each player is his own subject. Plus, Collins is a PF.
The footwork and balance! Most bigs can't make that move without traveling or falling off balance. Most would overrated that 2nd to last step. Collins makes it short so he can maintain balance and make another pivot.
A (possible) problematic aspect of this: Mitchell was a fan of Lillard, wanted to play with him and Lillard wanted him in Portland. I wonder if Dame is holding a bit of a grudge towards the front office now.
I’m sure Olshey let Dame know D Mitch was not going to be drafted given the lack of minutes we have available at PG/SG and the glaring need we had at SF/PF. And the fact that our guards are borderline all stars. Can’t imagine Dame is thinking twice about it; D Mitch, although good, doesn’t make this team any better. (unless you think dame wants CJ traded)
