Once again, you don't know me but you think you got it all figured out based on a few posts. Much old. So wise.

I don't think I know you at all--I'm only responding to your words. If I misinterpreted your comments, I'll gladly retract my response. Would you care to elaborate on what you meant when you referenced people "being fake" and "acting a certain way"?

Think I'm done with this forum for a while. The bullshit ganging up on somebody for an opinion is fucking ridiculous. Now if I said hey guys I go around saying this to gays, then I expect this kind of horseshit but this was on some progressive virtue signal type shit where everybody just wanted to tell me I was ignorant just because I didn't listen to the word police.

I did already and don't care to try to explain myself further, I just think it's extremely narrow minded the shit you guys did today but hey I hope you all feel like you accomplished something. Instead of attacking the real people out there who actually hurt people you go after the guy with a sense of humor. Don't need that shit, should of checked out long ago

I'm sorry, I must have missed it. Can you help me out with the post where you explained how people are fake?

I think the best reason to curb it isn't to change me, I'm already programmed.

If we stop saying mean things like this kids won't pick it up and it won't be an issue.

    That's why I try.

I'll think anything is funny if it's funny. A guy I worked with has muscular dystrophy and the guy was his dad's helper. The kid was pretty inspirational if you ask me. He is so weak and you can barely understand him his speech is bad from being weak.

People I work with would do impersonations of him that weren't funny. But he and I would joke with each other about ourselves. I could joke about his condition with him and we could laugh.

Don't let Sly see this but I cried in front of him when I told him how amazing he was for working so hard so he knew it wasn't meant to be mean.

    And you know most people...

Just know that your opinion regarding the use of the word isn't popular. And just like it might be your "free speech" to say it, I use mine to speak out against it.

Just read through this thread. Wow!

Yes, I still use the word Gay in it's original meaning. Ha! It amuses me that some don't even know it had an original meaning.

Now the PC hawks are bashing a young fellow over it. Not good at all.

He's right that people are fake as fuck. You know I believe in white privilege to a very large degree but you have to know that bazillions of people pretend they do and then talk about lazy black people behind their backs.

I try to be logical about it but it's hard. I see how many more black people are at the grocery store on the first and get pissed but then I think if fuckin crackers would give them a job.......

I hope you understand what I'm saying, that some of my thoughts may seem racist and some of them very accepting and understanding.

I just mean we all need to be honest and not pretend things are better than they really are.

    As I recall, I think I was.

I just finished reading a Book titled the Professor and the Mad Man. The subject of the book was the creation of the Oxford English Dictionary.
About how they went about documenting all the nuances of every word in the English language that have come to be through the centuries.

They did not have the purpose though, of defining the meaning to be inferred by the age of the user.

Yes, the evolution of the language has nearly always been by adding new word, conscripting words from other languages, or adding nuance to existing words over time.
Can't think of any other word that have been hijacked and a new meaning attached. The hijacking also prohibits using the word in it's historical meaning, with firmness of prohibition variable
by the age of the user.

If @Cippy91 were using it in its historical meaning, I doubt anyone would have had an issue in this thread. Unfortunately, however, that was not the case.
