You claim others are "LIVs", yet you shit on every thread with your bigotry. People like you are dangerous. Seek help.
How am I bigoted? Because I believe the story of the Hispanic guy in this case? I'm right on one thing. This case was all about race. Now the DOJ is looking into it as a civil rights' case.
oh yeah. hysterical. Especially when presented as true. But yes, it's only liberals trying to divide the country. Keep thinking that.
This entire case was presented as "true", when it is a simple self-defense case. When the President speaks about it in passive-aggressive racial terms, and he even spoke about the verdict today, that does a lot more damage than some random Youtube video. What I don't get is how some of us are "bigots" when our passion is a sport that is dominated by black athletes, and who we buy uniforms for our kids to wear and represent for them. White LIVs get so caught up in race.
Going back to the statement about a civil rights committee being convened to check the racism of this law: All of these men were granted immunity from their killing because of the SYG law. http://www.tampabay.com/news/courts...da-stand-your-ground-law-have-history/1241378 http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Florida/Orange-County-FL/Jackson-Fleurimon.42861729/details/ http://www.bustedmugshots.com/florida/miami/maurice-moorer/37364261 http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Florida/Pinellas-County-FL/Tavarious-China-Smith.21225426.html http://mugshots.com/US-Counties/Florida/Miami-Dade-County-FL/Alexander-J-Lopez-Lima.8288552.html http://www.tampabay.com/stand-your-ground-law/cases/case_126
The one where he said he moved out from Trayvon after he shot him, and then was "on top"? After which, he immediately called 911 to report his own shooting? That's the reason the prosecution didn't bring it up. It's because it had already been show, by at least one eyewitness, that Trayvon was on top of Zimmerman and pummeling him. That's your big scoop? LMAO
My point is that posts 251 and 300 talked about Civil Rights cases being brought up against the potential racism of this law, not whether or not it was used in this case. And that it seems that that's a pretty weak case, since you can be judged as immune from killings if you're black, hispanic, white or woman.
Oh, got it. The FBI already investigated it in 2012 and found no evidence of civil rights' violations. I expect nothing to come of their new investigation, other than political cover that will be quietly dropped in a few months. Zimmerman being Hispanic really proved to be a problem in this case, at least in terms of hate crimes.
He's a high information voter. You're likely to cause information overload by handing him actual facts.
Sure. And separate but equal meant blacks and white got equal quality schools. And poll taxes affect everyone equally, too. Everyone has to pay them, after all, if you're black, hispanic, white, or woman, right?
Nice capsulation of the "case". Embarrassing that anyone in this country would join this political smearing of a victim of assault simply for political leverage. At least our jury system was able to focus on the facts and survive the racist attempts to thwart Justice.
