All signs indicate he's been a big follower of the Warriors and has been angling for this for a while, who else would pay to be "Oracle Arena"? Oracle is all over the arena. I used to dream about this, finally.

This has now been reported on the truehoop blog on ESPN and in the contra costa times and mercury news. Its not just a pipe dream now. This is bigger than any Amare trade.

Ellison is richer than Cuban or Paul Allen, he's huge. He'll just eat Nellie's contract and start over. That's the kind of owner you want, someone who will do what it takes to win. Think DeBartolo. Come on Mr. Ellison.

It says he tried to negotiate with Ellison, but they couldn't reach an agreement. I hope that doesn't mean those talks are off. Cohan will probably get more anxious to sell, the longer this goes on. Hey, I got 5 on it... :)

LOL, you make it seem like we're getting an All-Star player on the team, which it feels like, huh?

It's more like if Ellison got the Warriors.

Things would be better. Like I said, he needs to fire Robert Rowell. He will already have been a better owner in his first 15 mins than Cohan has in his 15 years.

If Ellison came in this season, I don't think he should fire Nellie/Riley. They're doing a good job SO FAR and Nellie's contract runs out after this year. Might as well keep him. I don't know Riley's status, but I also don't have a problem with him as of now. He's a pretty savvy public speaker and seems like a nice guy (not a snake).

Ellison buying the Warriors would actually change the atmosphere from losing to winning.

    Larry Ellison from wikipedia:
He is currently listed on the Forbes list of billionaires as the fourth richest person in the world as of March 11, 2009. Ellison is the third richest American, with an estimated net worth of $22.5 billion. Ellison owns 22.59% of Oracle Corporation; his shares are worth between 20 and 25 billion dollars.

I would say Larry Ellison would rank as an NBA superstar and all-star in regards to potential suitors. His corp is already on the arena ferchrissakes. Get it done, Larry. Yes, I'm changing my TM to "Get it done, Larry." LOL.

Let's hope it's "Get it done Larry" and not "You're killing me Larry!"
