So, because Greg Oden's "employee" status ends when the Blazers get eliminated in April (unless they somehow reach the end of the second round), then none of our medical staff will be legally allowed to work with Oden. Oden will then be on his own rehabbing until his has a new and "approved by the league" contract. Well, it's not like Oden doesn't know the routine.

We need to move the pieces we can and upgrade what we can for REALLY GOOD players or REALLY GOOD picks. This is not the time for the Blazers to sit on their hands.

Very sad for all of us. Very very sad for Oden. I'm not giving up on him just yet. This year? He's clearly out. But he's still a young man and there's still a pretty good chance that he'll turn out to be a special player. We just will have had to wait a LONG time to see it. Ed O.
Oden's still our best chance for NBA greatness. Gambling on him is still better than rebuilding with our current assets. It gets sadder and sadder everytime I say it.
Why? Which Blazer gives us a better chance for NBA greatness? And lots of players have rebounded from microfracture surgery. Not to two knees, of course, but I don't see why it would be different here unless there is just something congenitally wrong with Oden that no one has picked up on. Ed O.
