I thought I would try something fun here to show our team pride and loyalty.

As we did our family photos recently I had a moment where I had kind of a fun thought. We were taking our family group photos and then as Im sure a lot of families do, then you take a few silly or fun group photos. As everyone made silly or funny faces or poses it was clear to me that I should throw up the pinwheel. And I laughed inside as I thought, "This is kind of like Jeff Foxworthy saying. 'You might be a redneck'.

"If you throw up the pinwheel in a family photo ... you might be a real Blazers fan"

What kinds of things do you do that confirm to you just how big of a Blazers fan you are? So I ask you fellow S2's and Rip City Residents, how do you show, "... you might be a real Blazers fan?"

By the way I just decided I will rep anyone who has a good one to post here

What do I want for Christmas from my parents? Baby headphones to take my newborn to a game!

I skipped my best friends 21st birthday party on Sunday to watch us play the Nuggets (on TV...)... I'm an awful person and I realize this.

I instantly hate everything yellow and purple.

I'm like a proud parent towards our players, glossing over their downsides keenly focused on what they are good at and never giving up on their potential

if you live in Seattle and get season tickets (big assist to Mrs. FromWA, who helped drive sometimes and let me buy them).

if you name your daughter Mercy.

if your idea of "splurging" on your wife's birthday is upgrading her seats to Row 5.

(only 2 of those 3 actually happened)

If you can name all the retired numbers.

If 12,666 is significant to you, and you can't abide that "12,888" bullshit.

If "Harry's Raincoat" means anything to you ;)

Okay here's the best one...

My wife was in Labor with my oldest son and I kept leaving the room to watch a regular season game

Ha! I love the 12666 one. Someone should get a tattoo of that.

The name is priceless! Rep'd

Edit: "You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to BrianFromWA again"

Somebody pay the man!

1) Blazer Trumpets ring tone. I'm in sales and it rings all day/everyday, but I NEVER get tired of hearing that song.

2) Only time I was ever arrested for anything was June 4th, 2000. After Game 7 of WCF vs LA, arrested/charged with Tresspassing 2 for refusing to leave establishment that asked me to leave for my reaction following melt-down after blowing 18 pt lead. It started when Brian Shaw banked 40'er in at the end of the 3rd. Such a lucky shot . . .

3) My wife plans our social schedule around the games. And absolutely no "date nights" when there's a game. UNLESS, I agree to not check the score (which means I have to give her my phone)

4) I actually watch Talking Ball, not because it's a quality show . . . I just like any post game analysis, discussion about potential of bench players, and the post game interviews.

5) Sometimes I can't sleep after a tough loss. I'll toss & turn worrying about psyche, confidence, & moral of the team.

6) Friends tell me I'm not fun to watch a game with. Even when we win big, there's probably a moment I get stressed out. (Ie, last night after leading by 36, Nugs cut the lead to 18 halfway through the 3rd & I started pacing in front of TV. Logically, the lead is still 18, but mentally the fear of what blowing a 36 pt lead would do to team confidence) I have to remind myself it's just a game.

Like many of you, I could go on and on.

Got the trumpets too! Love the part where you have to hand over your phone! Rep'd

If my daughter identifies her second-favorite basketball team as "whoever is playing the Lakers," I might be a real Blazers fan.

If I root for UAB during March Madness solely because of their team name, I might be a real Blazers fan.

If I'm currently in the process of teaching my kids the chorus to Bustabucket, I might be a real Blazers fan.

Oh, also, my niece who lives in Washington made me a rubber band bracelet last year, and made it all red and black because she KNEW I would want Blazers colors.

The first day I wore it was for the Miami game last year that basically ended our hot start. I wouldn't touch it after that.
