So i had this trade going through my head recently:
http://espn.go.com/nba/tradeMachine?tradeId=ojpvdav
I know it seems a bit tilted towards Denver at first glance, but hear me out:
1.Denver is in rebuild mode, they want to save money and acquire younger talent.
2.Faried is around Damien,CJ,Davis and Plums age. He is a great rebounder,he runs the floor well and is a good "team guy" so it works well with Neil's plan.
3.Vonleh could be a nice player in about 4 years, that's a bit too late when you look at the older ages of our leading core (which is around 25).
4.Mayers: iv'e written about this before - if he'll have a 'good' season then we'll have to pay him Faried's salary or more in this crazy "everybody gets a max contract" market.
5.Hendo will probably get a starting gig for more money on a different team when his contract runs out.
What do you think?
