:reading:BLAZERS' OFFICIAL GAME NOTES

• Monday marks the first of four regular season games between the Trail Blazers and Nuggets in 2015-16.

• The Trail Blazers won all four of their games against the Nuggets last season and have now swept Denver in each of the past two seasons (8-0).

• The last time that Portland swept Denver in back-to-back seasons was 1995-96 to 1996-97.

• Portland has now won four consecutive road games against the Nuggets after dropping its previous nine contests in Denver from 2008-09 to 2012-13.

• This eight-game winning streak represents Portland’s longest against Denver since it won a franchise-high 10 straight games from 1995-96 to 1996-9.

• Mason Plumlee is averaging 14.3 points on 65.4% shooting in his past three games against Denver. He recorded a double-double against the Nuggets on Dec. 23, 2014 with 19 points (9-14 FG) and 13 rebounds.

• Denver guard/forward Will Barton was drafted 40th overall by Portland in 2012 and spent his first two-plus seasons (144 games) with the Trail Blazers.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY:
ALL TIME: Trail Blazers lead, 90-74
IN PORTLAND: Trail Blazers lead, 63-20
AT THE NUGGETS: Nuggets lead, 54-27

Dark Wing Duck........ I was going to give you props on this thread, but they have a new floor! Learn the courts, THEN post!

There is little good that can be said about last nights game other than they have another game tonight that can erase the bad memories of giving up 18 offensive rebounds and turning the ball over 22 times i think 11 of them were in the 4th quarter? I know it was a lot that is for sure. Epic meltdown yes, but that was a crazy quarter by the Pistons. Put it behind you and lets get on the Denver.

This game looks to be another game that can be won but going to Denver and actually winning is never an easy task. Lets see what kind of fortitude this team has. Do they allow the Pistons to beat them twice or do they stand up and play a tough game.

The Nuggets are having some problems scoring wise. Wilson Chandler is still out and there has been little in the way of cohesive play on the offensive end. They have a formidable front line in Faried, Gallinari, and Lauverne. Personally i think the Blazers can have the edge in scoring at the rim and rebounds. They also look to have an advantage in the guard positions.

Defense has got to become the key in the Blazers style of play. You can just look at the difference when you watch a game like last night. When they get stops they play loose. When they get tight they can't score and they don't play defense. I also watched the entire team almost shrink the minute Detroit put a couple hard fouls on guys. This is because they are young. Personally i would have liked to see a few more ejections after the second hard foul on Plumlee last night. Someone should have put Morris on his back. I don't care what kind of maylay you are looking at....That is the Blazers home court and at some point you got to tell the league nobody is going to come in and walk on you. What do they lose? The Game? A player for a suspension? A fine? What do you gain? You get the point..... Teams are going to come at Portland now you can bet on it. How they respond will set the remainder of the season.

Blazers can get this game tonight. Hope they respond well.

Go Blazers!

Kjironman is a fan!!!

They'd better win tonight or turning 31 will be meaningless

won't be able to watch but ill be here in spirit. Go Blazers!

Just ran into The People's Champ walking out of the arena. My man Willie B said he "was going to dunk on you guys tonight!"

We need to rely on dribble penetration tonight more than ever. Faried and Hickson might be the worst defensive set of bigs the Blazers will face this month and I don't see Muddiay, Foye, or Harris really staying in front of Lillard and McCollum. If those two can get going early by attacking the paint, it will open up the rest of the floor for those drive and dishes for wide open looks.

Hickson seems to barely see the court this season, at least when I've checked Will's stats off and on

It looks like they rotate bigs pretty frequently between Hickson, Arthur, Jokic, and Lauvergne as all four play between 15-19 minutes per night.

Denver has always been a tough place to play.
This year, it's been a tough place for Denver to play. I don't believe they've won there this season. This should be an easy 15-20 point win and then all the haters and naysayers can go away again.

If any one has a stream, please PM me :-)

The usual stream place, has decided to block ya, if you have Adblock.... :p I'm not interesting in getting malware so I won't remove AdBlock :)

Didnt you say yesterday was supposed to be an easy 15-20 point win? Just making sure I understand.

What's the altitude like in this place? Does it effect the players the same way playing football at Mile High does?

Im so glad I pay for league pass to see "game unavailable due to technical difficulties" almost every night.

Can someone say when we tip off? If league pass is still down ill go to bed.
