Fuck hockey.

No guys.... what are you talking about?! I thought BASEBALL was the one sport the world had decided to make fun of. The media, progessive fans, pessimists in general.... baseball is totally behind the times and will soon die off. /S

No, in the US, that would be soccer.

I really wish people would take 10 minutes to learn the rules of hockey. There is nothing better in sports than the Stanley Cup Playoffs, or playoff hockey in general. Every person that I have made sit down and watch a game, give them a quick tutorial were on the edge of their seat by the end of the game.

It is even better when you are a Penguins fan and they are in the Finals! Boom!

It's funny. I didn't even realize professional Hockey existed before moving to Chicago. It's practically nonexistent out West, in that no one talks about it.

Hockey is my favorite sport to watch live. It's not even close. Baseball is 2nd.

Basketball is 213712372937123623423621639812730218309128302173rd. (this part is sarcastic. I enjoy it.)

This thread is a cruel joke.

Sadly, most probably don't know why.

The Portland Penguins were so close to reality, the NHL schedule maker had two schedules made that year. One for them in east and the other for them in the west. IT WAS THAT DAMN CLOSE

:sigh:

I would watch NHL.... if we had a team.

It's a phenomenal sport. It's hard because it's just not a great tv sport. Now live, is an entirely different animal. Probably the best sport to watch live. I was sitting watching the Cavs game last week for a bit, and decided to turn it to the hockey game that was on. It's just 1000% more entertaining. I played hockey my entire life, prior to my head ache, and think it is the best sport.

They used to show the Portland Buckaroos on KPTV when I was a kid. Of course, KPTV also used to show local pro wraslin' every Friday night, so take it for what it's worth. ;)

Agree! Hockey is a great sport. Especially when it's the NHL. Nothing beats the NHL playoffs.

Paul Allen fucked it up.

I am a Penguins fan, so I have a deep love/hate relationship with Lemieux. Love him because he is the greatest player to play for my team, but he also put together the last minute bid together to keep the Penguins in Pittsburgh.

Ive just gotten to the point with the anti-baseball crowd where I make fun of their whole premise. The media detractors and critics obviously are doing it for ratings. It's hip to hate the sport because they've portrayed it that way. But I can at least point fingers at the mob.

It was beautiful the way you wrote it.

The only thing the media gets right is that they are wrong.

It was Saturday night with Frank Bonnema. Learn the fake sport, then post
