Just imagine if we had got something for him? Oshley would look like a genius. But he didn't. So glad he's gone

No. 10 from Sacramento for him would make sense if they weren't in full rebuild mode and it makes no sense for them to finish with anything but the worst record next year.

Maybe Boston could trade down a little then trade the lower pick for Aldridge?

oooh man, I hope the Lakers get him. He'd hurt their chances for their crack induced pipe dream of getting LeBron and Paul George and the ghost of Eddie Jones.

Bill Simmons has a great theory about New York that they always trade for the guy who was good 3 years ago. Since Dwight Howard has already been traded, it seems a certainty that LaMarcus is destined for NYC. I absolutely love the idea of Aldridge, Mello, Dolan and Phil Jackson all being booed simultaneously by enraged Knicks fans. It absolutely must happen.

I can just see the press conference. "We wish Porzingas all the best, but we feel we've got our own sweet-shooting big man who can easily replace him." LMAO

That'd be awesome! NY media and fans would destroy him. He'd need counseling.

He'd look good in this

Actually, THIS is what he normally wears & looks best on him (or shall we say he looks best in).

4. carefully place said bag & contents on front porch of someone you loathe
5. light on fire

I doubt the Spurs will get what they want for him. Other GM's have gotta be thinking "If the Spurs are already lookin' to get rid of him, there must be a very good reason why, so why would I want him?"

Yep. When was the last time a guy got better by leaving the Spurs? Every GM in the league has to be asking themselves, "If that's what Popovich got out of him, how much can my coach get out of him?"

According to Stephen A. Smith, LaMarcus Aldridge is "very, very unhappy in San Antonio right now. He feels the Spurs have compromised him, his productivity. They have hurt his game. As a result, he wants out and he wants out in the worst way. He wants to be gone."

The San Antonio Spurs are looking to trade Aldridge ahead of the draft.

Aldridge signed a four-year, $80 million contract with the Spurs in 2015 and he has a player option for the 18-19 season.

Fixed it.

Damn. He absolutely tanked what value he had if there's any truth to this. It's Steven A Smith, so who knows....but bad mouthing the Spurs is just one of those things that does not help your career. Anybody trading for him is going to plan on him being a basket case. No way I'd give up a top 10 pick for that kind of headache.

The one guy I can see him coexisting with and actually succeeding is LeBron. If Cleveland deals Love, you could see LaMarcus filling in the same role but playing better defense.

I wonder if Cuban is considering picking him up at fire sale prices? Cuban has always been one to go for expensive, past their prime, former all stars. I wonder of Aldridge wants out of SAS badly enough to agree to play center next to 100 year old Dirk. DAL is, after all, home for him.
