LaMarcus sat out tonight against the Suns to rest, probably because on Sunday he'll try to beast on the Blazers. Hope we come out ready to play.

Nope. Easiest answer ever. He should never even be considered for it.

B-b-but he said he wanted to be the best Blazer ever. How would he have known that signing with San Antonio meant not playing for the Blazers? He's not a GM, ya know.

Tough game, but a must win game at home. We have to come prepare for them and we have to want it more. Big game for us. Good thing our guys don't play much minutes against the hawks so they will be rest as well.

It's all about the way LA left. If he had have said "We've both tried our best, it isn't working. It's time to go our separate ways. I'll always love you, we've just grown apart. It's not you it's me." I don't think most people would have a problem retiring his jersey.

But to say:
LA said:
I want to be the best Blazer — ever. If I stay the rest of my career, I should be able to catch Clyde by then. I should be able to leave a mark on a big-time franchise that is going to be seen forever. And I will be able to say I played here my whole career. This city has embraced me and grown with me. I have so much history, it just makes sense to stay.
and then leave. No way.

I think it's the blatant dishonesty that most Trail Blazer fans can't stomach.

Doesn't it look like Bertans head and Anderson's head (too small) was photo shopped onto those bodies? Nobody has a head that big or small except a self proclaimed poster in here. ...and The line "Mills Forbes and White" has only two players. Due to these circumstances and other unknown turns of fate, I hope we beat them!

Pretty sure he was here for the Houston series.

Yeah and I dislike Aldridge as much as the next guy but he played a huge role in those playoffs, particularly, in the first two games on the road where we won.

Still, I don't think the Blazers should retire his jersey, Just didn't make a great impact on the franchise imo.

Retire the jersey of a player that never won a playoff series in Portland. Grizzlies may as well retire Abdur-Rahim's jersey.
This person is putting LA and Shareef in the same category of importance in our franchise’s history. SIGH.......

Edited: No personal insults. Stren

No I clearly said I was talking about Abdur-Rahim and his time with Vancouver Grizzlies. Read carefully.

Collins should start tonight. But he won’t.

I still want to retire Rick Adelman's #12 jersey when the Spurs come to town...just to y'know....flick a booger at LA

Adelman's legacy will be remembered longer than LA's.

Yes, it was his coaching (rather than his talent as a player) that made the Blazers special, but I would not be opposed to retiring his #12.

I love it, @riverman !

He may WANT to beast.... be we got THE BEAST !! Who Beasts best when he knows someone on the other team is trying to OUTBEAST HIM !!

Good news, of course we had this situation the last time too....

So they have LaMarsha, a 37 and 40-Year Old, a kid from Rainier Beach HS, and the SLOWEST SF of all time.

Yet, watch Grandpop still coach them to a win.
