I wasn't aiming that at you, it was a general comment.
I'll say this though, I find through life I can't control what the other "side" does, or what other people in general do. I can only control myself. I'd rather we would spend time focusing on how to make our "side", or ourselves better than worry about throwing jabs at the people we think are against us. Part of the problem IMO is that we tend to have a tribalistic attitude with all this. The, "you're either with us or against us", mentality doesn't really help anyone, it sounds good during a real war, less good when we're trying to find a balance of good, tough, firm leaders for our country.

I always taught my kids in many cases in life, there has to be give and take, especially with friendships and families issues. You cant always get what you want! Sometimes we all have to be humble enough to listen to others and be willing to compromise for the sake of good, civility, respect, family, work, country. People so caught up into partisan politics seems to have a winner take all mentality and have a hard time accepting when the other side gets a victory. Addressing climate change won't help our kids much if we teach them to take no prisoners, when you disagree with some one, building a wall won't do any good if we teach the youngsters to throw away a chance to be charitable. Nation Building for the sake globalism just shows our kids thats the norm, and we should occupy and they should adhere. Populism without distinction can breed white supremacy amongst youngsters. Democracy is fragile and without give and take and compromise its in trouble.
