Nah, the NBA deserves the 'fuck you' for kowtowing to China. Can't be woke on some issues and then choose to ignore human rights abuses elsewhere. Additionally, there's no way his response was possibly a response to be made via his work email.

Adding to the China thing...go check out who owns Wilson, the new sponsor of the NBA instead of Spalding....

Adrian just pretty much sided with the players, and even if he loses his job at ESPN, will get inside info from players for the rest of time.

Unless there's an email where he drops the N bomb.

But good on Wojs. Fuck that guy.

Seriously I think the NBA has itself in a pickle because of China and their human rights violations and Hong Kong, that the association is aware of and will not take a simple stand.
At least show some nards and make a statement that is heard.

Money rules though.

politics n social virtue in sports.

ugh to the whole thing tbh.

The senator was totally trying to say all lives matter, also boo China to make woj look bad. Woj doesn't care about China

They all agreed that they can have the word freedom on the jersey, nuff said.

What exactly did the senator say that was wrong?

If the league is allowing statements on jerseys, then they should be open to opposing statements. Woj appears to think he's speaking for the NBA...

Woj will have a job 2 secs after they fire him and I would expect him to be fired after that...I'm sure he has plan B in action

The troops are puppets of BIG OIL and CORPORATE ASSHOLES for illegal wars around the world. Don't deserve recognition.

The Police are systematically eliminating minorities on the orders of the GOP. Don't deserve recognition.

China is a benevolent country who is merely trying to reclaim their natural state of Hong Kong, which has been unjustly been corrupted by the evil, capitalists of the West. The poor citizens of mainland China should share in their wealth.

Viva China!!!!

Because the social justice movement at hand is not all lives matter, its black lives matter

Were there players who wanted those messages and were denied? Honestly asking, because I may have missed it if there were.

If not, then it's silly for Hawley to suggest them just because those are the messages he supports. These are messages that the players will be wearing...they shouldn't be wearing messages they don't support just to make Hawley feel better.
