Of players I liked, Maledon, Saddiq Bey, Flynn and Vassell looked good. Of players I was skeptical about, Williams and Okoro looked really good. Tillman, Campazzo. Terry, T. Bey and Halliburton looked meh. Edwards, Ball and Anthony are giving the haters fuel already.

I liked Maledon better than Killian Hayes (who overdribbles) but I worried he'd be another Mudiay. Looks good so far:

Ball had 10 boards and 4 dimes in 16 minutes. I bet his coaches will take that every night. They don’t need him to score and doubt they care that he didn’t. Watched the game and he could have easily had 10 dimes as well, teammates blew a bunch of easy shots. That kid is going to struggle, but his court vision is sick.
