These new camera angles are awful. Stop switching in live action-- how many more plays do we need to miss because this dude (Jeff Curtin, or whoever the fuck it is now) likes to stroke his ego by experimenting with us?

Who the hell likes this shit?

Goddamn, I can't handle this tonight. Absolute garbage. Totally ruining my game experience.

@THE HCP PLEASE PASS THIS FEEDBACK ALONG

It does seem rather... aggressive.

On ESPN on opening night it felt like the main camera was zoomed way in and it was constantly shaking as the camera operator struggled to keep the ball in frame. It was giving me motion sickness, but I thought maybe it was just me getting old :)

lmao relax,
Nobody is stroking their ego

I think the camera angles are different because of covid. You notice there are no camera people on the endline.

I would never have even thought about it if people weren’t complaining in here. I love being lower and closer to the game. To each his own

They're probably just trying to draw attention away from the empty stands.

I want a GoPro strapped to each player's head. And also on the officials, so we can see if they saw what they say they saw.

barfo
The next iteration of mic'ed up?!

Agreed. Only use the floor camera for replays. Not live feeds. Keep that simple with the half court elevated camera that sweeps from hoop to hoop for live play. That is the best way to see off ball action.

not sure it has anything to do with egos though? Cant gauge fan reaction without trying right?

I don't seem to have a problem with the angles as much as the fake crowd noise.
But it was pretty obvious the crowd noise to an extent is needed to bring at least a little life to the production.
I did notice they started getting it timed a little better.

Maybe the camera angles and content they provide will improve as the season progresses also? A work in progress like the team itself.

Wait til you hear the Staples Center crowd noise...... BRUTAL! Sounds like a fan or you are on an airplane! Never changes!

They do it through home team free throws? I watched the Clippers game and some of the Mavs game but don't remember. You can either remind me or I'll wait an hour and a half.

When we play the lakers at home will it be realistic audio with Lakers fans cheering??

Oh and will someone please let me know when HCP changes his Avatar?

I'M turning them off until then. I cant look at that Laker ring any more.
