Free agency starts on June 30th. Who are we targeting? By all accounts we're probably going for a backup center with either the full MLE or the BAE. Some targets:

I like Mo Bamba for the full MLE. Isaiah Hartenstein would be fine as well. Nic Claxton? Everyone else is a huge MEH.

Some wings:

Kyle Anderson
Otto Porter Jr.
Taurean Prince?
Jalen Smith?

Didn't realize we're already at 13 roster spots assuming we re-sign Ant/Nurk and including Sharpe. 12 without Bledsoe. Assume Bledsoe goes out and Ingles comes in. Still just 2 spots left in FA...

what about Blevins? he coming back?

Just resign Eubanks as our backup c.

Marvin Bagley? Will Detroit match full MLE?

I like Kyle Anderson

Hoping that we get Thybulle for Bledsoe and focus on two bigs.

Dame/Ant/Keon
Ant/Hart/Sharpe
Nas/Thybulle/Sharpe
Grant/Walker/Watford
Nurk/(Smith)/Brown III

You’d have to find a better backup PF too.

Not gonna find someone better than Watford.

I think we should add Winslow somewhere in that depth chart.

Ingels doesn't need to be here, same for Didi and Brown. That gets 5 spots potentially available. Blazers have plenty of room.

Why would Philly do that? I mean seriously, how does that benefit them? Honest question because I don’t know

Assume we'd at least need to give them second round pick. Probably absorb thybulle in smaller TPE instead of EBEC so they save cap space.

I like Hartenstein a little more, but I'm on the same page with you about either Bamba or him. The Blazers need another good true big to play presumably with Nurk.

Jalen Smith definitely would be a nice fit, as well.

Yeah I like idea of Thybulle. Skeptical Morey is serious as opposed to trying to drum up offers. I'd be happy with TJ Warren for MLE and Robin Lopez or whatever vet C for BAE

Dame/Ant
Hart/Keon/Sharpe
Nas/Thybulle/Warren
Grant/Winslow/Watford
Nurk/Lopez

Need a starting level SF - would like Nas to be ready, but even if he is, can he stay healthy?
Need an athletic big - any way to get Bamba? Could play C/PF....plenty of minutes.

I think part of the reason Detroit was looking to dump Grant's contract was that they liked what they saw from Bagley.
Yes, they would match the full MLE.

I thought Eubanks looked good as a backup center. But I would prefer it if he were the 3rd option. Plus what if he or Nurk gets hurt? We need that 3rd center. I would go all-in on Bamba as well.

Lowkey guy to keep an eye on is Caleb Martin. Good on ball defender and 41% shooter from 3. Same size as Nas/Hart/Sharpe but you can never have too many of those guys.

I know the team probably thinks Ant is the backup PG and getting another one would be a luxury we don't need but we don't really have anyone who can pass and defend well from that position. Rubio definitely my target here.

Also want to prioritize culture setters who want to win and defend moreso than young guys who are looking to breakout (Bamba/Smith/Bagley/etc) or get paid. PJ Tucker is gonna have a bunch of suitors but could be a legit starter for our team.

Don't waste our MLE on a center when the Knicks are giving away Noel by attaching a draft pick to open up space. He makes 9.2 mi. We can partially guarantee Bledose to take in Noel with one of our TPEs, and pick up a future pick as an asset.

We don't have a TPE big enough to absorb Noel. Moving Bledsoe defeats the purpose for the knicks.

do we not have the Roco TPE? If we guarantee Bledose for around 3 mil, we can abosrb Noel's deal and save NY ~6.5 mil, no?
