Come up with the best Dame-Harden three (or more) team trade (so we don't end up with Harden)

Of course, the trouble is that the third team would most likely be Miami or the Clippers, and they've got jack shit.

It seems like a lot of people have been raving about the Clipper's depth the last few years, yet I agree with you, they don't have many players I covet.

Obviously picks would also be involved:

Batum and RoCo could be switched depending on which ex-Blazer we'd be more prepared to welcome back. Nic could mentor Rayan Rupert, though.

Lillard, KAT and Nurkic to Philly. -Philly is rebooting and trying to contend immediately.
Embiid, Conley, PJ Tucker to Portland. Try to build an inside-out contender and get a backup PG
Harden, Simons to Minni. Get out of KAT, get a prospect in Ant to form an Ant colony.

Oh...your thread title said "three team" trade. Should it be updated to multi-team?

Morey has said he wants a quality player and picks for Harden. Cronin has said he was a quality player, prospects, and picks for Dame.

I think that what Philly wants for Harden and what Portland wants for Dame are way too similar and cramming both players in the same trade dilutes the value either team will receive

Now prove it works on a Trade Machine!

Harden to Real Madrid
Tavares to Portland
Dame to Philly
Ausar Thompson and Maxey to Portland

True enough. This is about the best I could do.

I would probably just remove Claxton and Mann from that deal.

Clips have to send out something more just because Harden makes SLIGHTLY more money than what would be going out, and since they're over the second apron they can't take back even $1 more than what they're receiving. So something like this would work.

Net's don't need to receive 4 players in this trade. They already have a full roster.

Ideally Clippers would convert Diabaté to a regular contract and send him to Portland. If not, send KMJ to Portland.

The Clips have to send out players to make room for Harden and we don't want those players.

I just don't see the Sixers giving up Maxey.

Philly owes a pick in '25 to OKC, and in '27 to Brooklyn. I don't remember the exact wording on how far in the future future picks can be moved, but I believe currently it stands at 2030. So we could get a whopping 1 pick from Philly, in 2029. 5 years from now would be the pick haul from Philly. The Clippers owe a '26 pick to OKC. So we could get 2! picks from them. In '28 and '30. Doesn't seem any better than the potential in picks we can get from Miami. Neither team is flush with young players that are intriguing. I guess we squint and sell ourselves on Kobe Brown being our PF of the Future? Although he's already 23.
Maybe it's not talked about more because it' not all that intriguing?
