Like to see Kreider step up tonight with a huge game

MSL is not that far away. Yeah he hasn't scored, but he makes those on the ice with him, that much better.

Definitely need St Louis to get some confidence. He is the missing link on this team really being interesting in the playoffs. Other guys (Hank, Nash, Stepan McDonough, Girardi even Richards) have come around.

The problems the Rangers will have come playoff time will be handling teams that come out intending to muscle them to death. They have to stand up to them, and fight back. If they can't, it could be a short road.

Of course, Kreider didn't step up. Kid definitely needs more of an edge if he wants to take the next jump up in his game.

Losing to simply a better team..plus they never win when they have ceremonies. This is a bad matchup for them, the leaky D is being exposed again.

The ceremony curse is over. LOL

Im probably one of the posters who's more critical of St Louis...he has had minimal to no impact since arriving on the team. He looked absolutely lost out there for the first two periods last night. Maybe it's the flu, maybe it's because he's only played 11 games on a new team with no real time to learn the system...whatever it is. He has been a dud so far. He's clearly gonna get it going at some point, but with 9 games left he better pick it up quickly.
Side note...pretty interesting reading the first 30 posts on this thread...and at least Kreider put 1 in the net....!

For sure jam. MSL's issue to me is he just needs to start shooting more instead of passing every chance he gets. We'll need Nash, MSL, Hank, and McD playing at very high levels to make some noise in the playoffs.

Bottom line is outside of Boston the East is wide open. The # 2 spot after Boston is up for grabs between us and 3 other teams, Philly, Montreal, and Pitt IMO. We'll see who ends up in that spot.

Chuck, don't forget even though small sample Kreisler has been good in the playoffs also. We're going to need his physicality both for flyers and bruins and he seems to play better against the more physical teams to me.
