If I am Lebron I say fuck south beach and head north. Chicago would be a title favorite with Lebron on that team.

The Bulls could not outright sign him unless he was willing to take around 11 million per. However they could work out a deal with Miami.

Odds are he stays in Miami but the thought of Lebron in Chicago is scary.

Rose Butler Lebron Gibson and Noah that is the NBA's best defense easy. Move Lebron to PF and insert Dunleavy and you got a potentially potent offense as well.

Where do you see him ending up?

Back in Cleveland. No way he signs with Chicago. You can't rely on rose

Probably in Miami but with at least one of his two current sidekicks being replaced.

I'm going to go on a limb here and say Phil snatches him.

New York bound.

I think he stays in Miami. I see no reason for him to move right now. I believed him when he said yesterday that he was in a good place in his life. He did not sound like a guy who was ready to move on quite yet.

I do find it interesting that his buddies salaries may end up hurting his chances to improve. As I argued in another thread I do not see Wade opting out. The guy does not look like he will get a long term contract from anyone other than Miami. i think he keeps his 20 million for the next two years. Bosh may opt out but re-sign with Miami and stay with Lebron.

PG: Kyrie Irving
SG: Dion Waiters
SF: LeBron James
PF: Triston Thompson
C: Joel Embiid / Anderson Varejao

I think LeBron snaps Kyrie back into his 2012/2013 form: a top-3 PG.

They could also consolidate the Embiid/Thompson/other pieces into a Kevin Love or LaMarcus Aldridge.

If I'm Portland, there's no fucking way I take Embiid.

I think the only way LeBron goes back to Cleveland is if he feels like the pieces are there already. I don't think using the draft pick and going young is going to make him wanna jump. They need to bring him someone close to the caliber of Wade or Bosh to make him jump. Someone like Love or LA probably more LA. But I doubt Portland is going to move him. Especially with what they saw SA just do. They will keep Dame, LA and Batum together.

They aren't taking EMbiid #1... there's articles on it.

Guangdong Southern Tigers. He will be to China what Billy Ray Bates was to the Philippines.

Now that the Heat have won 3 straight titles with Air James, I say he takes a break from basketball and plays minor league baseball next summer. He'll probably struggle with the curve balls, but he's such a gifted athlete that it's only a matter of time before he's winning batting titles in the majors.

Oh, wait....

im gonna say he stays in miami, wade takes a big pay cut, lebron and bosh take modest pay cuts, and they bring in melo

There's no way Wade takes a pay cut.

No chance.

He's looking like Minnesota Brandon Roy. This is his last contract. He's not going to leave $20m on the table.

if wade doesnt opt out, lebron is gone. its like group sex, if one person wears a condom it ruins everything

I can see him staying in Miami. I'm sorry, maybe its my dislike for the guy but I don't see the pure desire for championships in LeBron. He's won 2 in Miami, he enjoys living down there, and in the Eastern Conference, that team can still contend every year. I can see Bosh opting out and taking a pay cut, I don't see Wade doing the same thing. Wade's career as he knows it is over, the man is done. He can't handle the strenuous NBA schedule anymore.

LeBron either re-ups with Miami or goes back to Cleveland to finish out his career where it started. The prodigal son returns.

Lebron to PDX!

Lebron/Irving/Waiters. Is there really enough basketballs to be had with those three players? Are either Irving/Waiters consistent three ball shooters? Will YOUNG players who don't know what it's like to WIN be willing to take lesser roles to play alongside the best player in the game today? Or will they be thinking... They need to make a name for themselves...?

I highly doubt those three players could co-exist.

Lebron/Wade/Bosh all understood one player isn't going to get consistent touches and will have to be more of a spot-up-shooter. ala Bosh.

hopefully he retires from depression from losing.
f-lebron. 'king' james!

I like how a majority of the world wanted him to lose. Nobody outside of star fuckers like Drake and the rest of the millionaires club actually like him. The hate is real, and it's awesome.

Well I think we will see this summer what happens maybe all three opt in and try again with the same core and then if they fail blow it up in 2015 where Lebron can pick who he wants to play with.

By then he could go the LA with Love and Marc Gasol joining Kobe and Marcus Smart to help Kobe win one more. Or to New York and try and bring a title to the Mecca known as MSG.

So much hate. smh

He's staying in MIA, and given how weak that conf is, he's getting back to the finals regardless if Melo joins him or not

Lebron and Bosh opt out. Sign lesser/smaller deals and allow enough room for Melo to sign there too. Wade isn't factor as father time has caught him.

Wade's a factor if he doesn't opt out. 20 million next year makes him one.

I have no idea where, but NY would be the best fit for the league. The league is better when the Knicks are relevant

Yep, the wildcard here could be what Lebron decides to do, If he ops out CLE could be a front-runner, but IMO that would pretty much force them to trade the #1 for the best player they can get to help entice Lebron to come back. That would likely be LMA or Love, so Lebron opting out could certainly make things a bit more interesting
