I'd love to add Demare Carroll but others that are intriguing:
Al Jefferson
Greg Monroe
Draymond Green
Corey Brewer
Deandre Jordan
Marc Gasol
Enis Canter-restricted

I don't think we could pull off Gasol. If we lose Aldridge and Lopez, we need to add a post scorer and power player. How much money would we have for free agency if we lose those two and Afflalo? I like Afflalo but man, what a disappointment that trade appears to be right now.

Greg Monroe is a bruiser in the post and averages a double double. He also gets some good assists for a big. I really like his ceiling.

Al Jefferson is just a pump-fake machine that will further gum up this already stagnant Blazer offense. Avoid at all costs.

Brewer would be great.

Dellavedova (RFA) would be an under-the-radar move. He showed flashes this year - big PG @ 6'4"

Good list here...

Realistic guys who could help us (in no particular order):
  • DeMarre Carroll
  • Paul Milsap
  • Mirza Teletovich
  • Brook Lopez
  • Thaddeus Young
  • Bismack Biyombo
  • Jimmy Butler
  • Tristan Thompson
  • Iman Shumpert
  • Timofey Mozgov
  • Al-Farouq Aminu
  • Tyson Chandler
  • Rajon Rondo (not a joke, but would have to be at a serious lowball offer)
  • Jameer Nelson
  • Reggie Jackson
  • Greg Monroe
  • Draymond Green
  • Patrick Beverley
  • K.J. McDaniels
  • Corey Brewer
  • Jason Terry
  • Roy Hibbert
  • Rodney Stuckey
  • DeAndre Jordan
  • Ekpe Udoh
  • Ed Davis
  • Nick Calathes
  • Marc Gasol
  • Jeff Green
  • Beno Udrih
  • Goran Dragic
  • Khris Middleton
  • Gary Neal
  • Norris Cole
  • Alexis Ajinca
  • Jimmer Fredette
  • Eric Gordon (not that he'll opt out of his ridiculous contract)
  • Alexey Schved
  • Cole Aldrich
  • Shane Larkin
  • Enes Kanter
  • Tobias Harris
  • Brandon Knight
  • Gerald Green
  • Brandan Wright
  • Derrick Williams
  • Rudy Gay
  • Kawhi Leonard (I can dream, can't I?)
  • Danny Green
  • Amir Johnson
  • Louis Williams
  • Jeremy Evans
  • Kevin Seraphin

If I had to choose from the list above, I would pick Danny Green, Corey Brewer (which I doubt is available), Gasol (Obviously but we know this is a pipe dream), Roy Hibbert (I think is actually very available), Brook Lopez (Lets get the 1-2 twin punch!)

I think Hibbert would be a big get and might actually be less expensive than last go around. I love the fit/feel of Shumpert next to Dame. We need a slasher.

pg-damian, cj, blake
sg-wesley, green
sf-batum, brewer, wright
pf-LA, meyers, freeland

best team ever right there

I doubt Houston lets Brewer go and I doubt Brewer will want to leave. He has a good thing going in Houston and they took a chance on him. I see Brewer as a pretty loyal guy and it helps Houston is going to make it to the second round to boot.

Gerald Green is nick named "My Bad" because he has amazing skills, but the brain between his ears forces him to make some seriously questionable decisions.

We need smart, heady players. I actually think Hibbert is smart in a defensive way, so I am in total support with obtaining him. I would think Brewer is heady, just not obtainable.

Now Danny Green maybe the player that we could really steal this summer. He has the range to hit the jumper (three) and is a very solid perimeter defender. I would actually like to go with a 1-2 punch of Batum and Green. Maybe even use Crabbe and another player to do a sign and trade for Green. Lets keep SAS on our good side! ;)

I would love to get Danny Green. Love love love.

I think we could really have a chance on him because of Leonard. Spurs need Leonard more than Green and many suspect he's getting max.
Leonard is getting max (if not from SAS then from someone else) but how do we get Green without a trade? I don't see SAS wanting what we would be ok with giving up. Can't give up a pick right now (we already dealt next years). I wouldn't trade Leonard or CJ at this point so just Crabbe? That is not near enough.

Green is an unrestricted free agent right? I was thinking sign and trade, so they could get a cheap player in Crabbe. We could just as easily offer a contract

Maybe that interests them but I doubt it. They will probably just want him back and if he goes too high that they would sign and trade him then I think they would get better offers.
And yes he is Unrestricted but we can only offer MLE-type money.

Danny Green is gettable IMO as he had kept improving, he's now a very good defender and 3pt shooter - avg 42% for his career! He is now 27 and could be a very nice replacement for Wes/Afflalo or an excellent addition, his cost will be interesting

Carroll is the guy that I usually think of when I consider moving Batum, which I think is the most logical move to get better. However, Batum is the primary facilitator in this offense, and, while I think Carroll is as good or better than Nic in most other respects, that is the one area where he seems to be well behind.

I wonder what the market for Khris Middleton is. He looks like a star for the Bucks. A wing with good size who can score in many ways and who leads the league for DRPM at SG. But next year Jabari Parker will be back sucking up all the shots, so maybe Middleton would be ready to jump ship?

Probably not as high as it should be. He gets overlooked because of the Greek freak (who is kind of been underwhelming this post season besides game 3).

8 Mil a year is my guess. So very good value there if that is the case. Problem is we can't get him as even if we renounce a couple guys we don't have Cap space above MLE to work with.

sign danny green, trade affalo, wright, kaman and future cash and draft picks for jimmy butler and demarcus cousin. sign lin and release blake
pg-damian, cj, lin
sg-butler, wesley
sf-batum, green
pf-LA, meyers, freeland
c-counsin, lopez

that is one good team. we could even challenge 72-10 record. i think that is trade is a possibility. if not counsin then i won't mind hibbert. you guy are forgetting that our owner is one of the richest man in the world.

Projected Record Note:
Projected records are based on the PER of the players in each team’s post-trade rotation. Taking into account the players traded and the ability of their replacements, it is possible for each team in a trade to have a better projected record, or for each team to have a worse one, or for one team to be better and another to be worse by a different number of games.

the trade could be something like this

We all know who should replace Blake:

Now we just have to get his rights back off Dallas.

Well yeah, but the reality of the good players for below mediocre is laughable
