Based on what? Maybe he comes in a lights up Vegas but he has shown ZERO improvment since being drafted. I don't have a lot of hope in him. Project Pat over Crabbe is an easy call going forward.

Crabbe's upside is to be a "3/D" guy. But his shooting has been pretty mediocre for a "shooter", because he doesn't have any other offense. I think he needs to at least start shooting around 40% if he wants to be a regular rotational player.

But yeah, Pat is a more exciting prospect because he's a much better athlete, and his shooting numbers in college were better than Crabbes.

Allan Crabbe shot about the same % from 3 last year as Damian, who we all say had a shitty shooting year. And Damian forced shots under pressure, Crabbe was just a spot up guy who shot them when he's open,

I've been calling for Pat as the surprise starter at the 2 for a few days now, and I think that would be great. My preference would be for Crabbe to be Aminu's backup at the 3. But I'd have no problem with Crabbe starting alongside Dame as well, because when he had started in the past, he has made good decisions, and the team as a unit has performed well. I guess my hope is that with fewer people ahead of him with guaranteed minutes, he'll step up his confidence and aggressiveness and show us more of the player he was in college.

Either way, the one thing I DON'T want us for CJ to start. He's the super-sub, the sixth-man, the Lou Williams--the guy who's one job is to come in and score. I'd have no problem with CJ having the highest usage rate on the team. But I don't want him in the starting lineup.

Crabbe is on his make or break season. He has the skills and deferred on offense last season. We were 8-0 with him in the starting lineup, he didn't perform as well in spot minutes off the bench but entering his 3rd year he's due to improve. I like his length at the 2 to start over CJ. He's a good defender.

Larry Nance Jr. is a Mark Madsen clone.

The Lakers can't score in SPL. They are going to suck most heinously this season.

I wish we would've got Portis. He's going to be a star.

I got my answer. Our game will be on TV live at 7 pm PT.

Source: My quasi-legal site (which has been posted on this board many times, you know it) is currently showing 2 games simultaneously on separate channels. So it will show the 7:00 and 7:30 games at the same time, too. So ours won't be delayed.

Raptors looking great - Norman Powell in particular, although Caboclo too. Portis not repeating yesterday's success - so far 1 for 8.

Jokic looks great for the Nuggets, and Mudiay looks very smooth. Good team.

...and now he's been waived by them, after possibly a worse SL than last year.

I don't know what's up with him. He was the most important player for Michigan State his senior year. Of course, he can't shoot AT ALL, which doesn't help in today's NBA, but he could be a poor man's Tristan Thompson maybe?
