Hey I want us to win this year but if we don't at least we get a lottery pick.

Thank gosh we're not the Lakers, Nets, Knicks. Could you imagine losing boatloads of games, having a chance at a top4 pick and it goes to another team?

Exactly, plus the league rarely rewards the obviously tanking teams. Philly will never get the number one pick, but I could see us getting lucky again even if we win like 30 games if they keep trying, look at Cleveland with Irving and (lol) Bennett.

I don't really want to ride the tank, but I do like the idea of experimenting on things this year that you normally wouldn't because they would lead to losses. Like:

Dame working on tough PnR passes that end up leading to turnovers now, but may be money in a couple years;
Harkless, Aminu, Leonard, Henderson taking as many open threes as they can get;
Plumlee leading the break, and passing out of the middle of the key (love this one already);

If that gets us this, then that's okay:

In some ways, Minny beat themselves. There were some ugly shots -from both teams- in the 4th.

And CJ went into hero ball when Dame was hot.

If your going to tank, it might as well be a flaccid tank.
