• This will be the first ever meeting between the Trail Blazers and Clippers in the NBA Playoffs. Los Angeles is one of three Western Conference teams that Portland has never matched up against in the postseason (Golden State, New Orleans).

• By earning the fifth seed, the Trail Blazers have finished in the top-5 in the Western Conference in three consecutive seasons for the first time since doing so in four straight seasons from 1989-90 to 1992-93.

• The Clippers represent Portland’s closest geographical postseason opponent since the 2002 NBA Playoffs, when the Trail Blazers played the Los Angeles Lakers in the opening round. Since then, Portland has matched up with Dallas (twice), Houston (twice), San Antonio (twice), Memphis and Phoenix.

• In NBA postseason history, teams that lost the regular-season series versus their playoff opponent are 158-387 in those postseason series (45-140 in the opening round since 1983-84).

When we lose, I get a little upset, vent maybe, and then move on. I usually don't lose sleep over it.

Win this game Blazers and the pressure begins to mount on the Clippers. "Another Meltdown" " Are we going to lose this series" "Why can't DJ just hit a Free Throw", "Man i wish i could hit a free throw". The questions start to creep into their thoughts as the Blazers get more and more confident. The Clippers will start to bicker and complain. They do this year after year.
Just go out and take care of home court and let the "Boogie Men" do the rest of the work for you in Chris Paul's mind.

Yeah, Blake and Redick did not look good last game. If their limited from here on out with only one day off its a game changer.

CP3 has been playing out of his mind though; I think his PER is 35ish or something? He can't do everything though. I think we can wear him out by the 4th.

We shot 24% from downtown good for only 6 threes in game three and still won the game. If you had told me we would shoot 24% from 3 and win by 8 I would have been surprised. I'd love to see how the series goes if guys like Mo, Crabbe, and Chief start knocking down their 3's, they are all capable.

It would be interesting seeing how LAC tried to adjust to that. I bet it would really free up the guards in the pick and roll, and it should also take away that high pressure on Dame and CJ.
