Perhaps we shouldn't get too comfortable just yet? We've been down this road before.

The rest of the team let him down starting in the mid 4th Q. Turner, Harkless, Crabbe under achieved.

Fucking idiots.

Fuck the team
Fuck the doctors
Fuck the fans trusting the team and doctors
Fuck me not having enough money to own the team, so I could start having input on what goes on there.

This.

Harkless is the player I want gone along with Meyers and Crabbe. Hell I'd even take Turner over Harkless. Everyone is on Harkless jock just because the dude is 23 years old.

Well, get him healthy and ready to kick ass next season because it's going to be wild and fun ride to the top of the Western Conference standings, baby! :smiley-beerchug:

Not really concerned. He will sit out the rest of the series and be fine next year.

We should have had contingency plans but we fucking blew it.
Festus and big Ed were the contingency plans...we didn't blow it...injuries gutted the bigs on the roster ...all of them but Vonleh...even Meyers is hurt and now Nurk. Shit happens and this was as good a year as any to weather a season....we weren't winning a ring anyway...it was a season of tryouts for next season and we do have 3 first round picks

Biggest disappointment is that guys who I want to trade away didn't really improve their value much...probably have to trade them for peanuts about now

Clippers losing Griffin for the rest of the playoffs was huge....that team is going to get blown up quickly...half a decade without success

You owning the team would make my life amazing. I would save something like 300 hours a year not watching, caring about, or following your team.

He needs to let his leg heal during the offseason.

Yeah, he'll be fine by the time the season starts back up again. And now he's had a taste of the playoffs, a game that slipped away because he couldn't play. That's some potent motivation.

The reason you want to trade them is because they suck & are only worth peanuts... why would you think they would suddenly start playing better to increase their value?

Apparently they don't ....but I wish Meyers beasted for a game or two

Nurk wasn't ready to come back. He is still hurt. Hobbling around like an old Sabonis. Sit him out let him heal and hope his legs hold up next season. The center injury curse lives on. All of our centers are injured. I got to say though for moment last night I saw what could be, I saw us overpower the warriors. That's without Durant, Livingston, and their coach of course. Part of me imagined what we would look like against them with a healthy Nurkic. Then I woke up

With Dame as a leader I cant wait to hear the stories of how he has a healthy Nurk working out at some undisclosed location with him and the team meeting up early to get the "Gel" on!
Man, those of us homers are gonna be off the charts with every story like that.
I do wonder if other teams leader do that stuff. Or do they all spend time on a yacht and floaties partying it up?

So happy to have Dame. Even happier now that we have what he needs most.

Every player worth a damn wants to play. It's the team doctor's responsibility to be the voice of reason and look out for the health of the players. Fucking idiots indeed.

FWIW, Stotts may be on the bubble.

I really like him as coach, but the reality is that the GM and owner invested in the team with the expectations of a better record than last season.

Instead, the team effectively underperformed and isn't really showing the spirit or preparedness in the playoffs.

We're getting dominated by the Warriors who lost players to gain cap space for Durant and aren't playing Durant.

Playing Nurk on a broken leg speaks worlds about Nurk, but also is a move of desperation.

Maybe we give Stotts a chance with Nurk for the whole season. Maybe Stotts is our Pops, and will coach for decades.

Or maybe something has to change: either players or the coach. Often it's the coach.

I'm not advocating that Stotts be fired. It's just one way management might be thinking.

Big time disagree.

He just signed a new contract. He was just runner up for coach of the year. He entered the season severely hindered by an unbalanced roster and further hindered by injuries.

Again. You want him to turn a turd sandwich into a 5 star meal? I'm pretty sure NO and PA are smart enough to recognize the size of the shackles Stotts has had on him this season and the moment they went out and got what was a glaringly obvious need, Stotts quickly changed his offensive style and ran the team to a 15-6 record.

A coach can only do so much with an unbalanced roster. But a coach should do well with a balanced roster and the moment it evened out, Stotts ran with it.

He really had the turd sandwich last season and over performed.

Same players, add ET.

The regression of several players looks to me to be the real issue. Ed Davis regressed, so did Aminu.

I don't think NO is going to use the unbalanced roster rationale. My assumption is that Stotts was involved in personnel decisions.
