The last really cool game up in Fenway that mattered was the Yankees beating the Red Sox on the 100th Anniversary of Fenway Park game day. Been a lot o lean times since, time for the Yankees to get back to the tradition of making BOSTON an acronym for Boy Our Shabby Team Outplayed Nobody. May Sevey pitch well, the Bird start flying, and the Judge put the court in session.

>Do you have an acronym for the Orioles? How about Oh Right Its Opportunity Lost in September?

Iwas stationed in Maryland from '79 through '81. Saw some Oriole Yankee matchups in old Memorial Stadium. Wild Bill Hagy was the premier Oriole Fan back in those times. The Yankees and Orioles had some brief rivalries but most Yankee Fans including myself have always see Boston as Rival #1.

The Courts in Session. Judge Aaron presiding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seve looking good. We may need to send all our young pitchers to work with pedro in the offseason.

If there's one thing about Judge, he sure knows how to put bang into his birthday! Way to go Aaron. :happybday:

Boston was and is always the prime Yankee Rival. For O's fans it was always a loss to the Yankees. The O's are usually known as the team that shoots themselves in the foot. I remember Wild Bill and the horrendous parking in Memorial too.

Betances, don't you fuck this up for Seve! 3 up , 3 down......great job.

Chapman I don't have time for your shit with the walks, Get your Shit together.

Chapman is going to fuck this game. He's wild high and the Sox are threatening. Second & third,
no outs. There goes the shutout. Just brilliant you nut job!

Two outs, first & third.......what a fine mess he's got himself into. He has nothing out
there. He is aiming his pitches. Not happy watching this shit!

There is always one in the bunch! For a closer, he looks like crap.

Girardi can't look, you SOB.

Rutledge just missed HR.......hanging curve.

Got the final strike. 33 pitches on a lucky outing.

I'm getting ready to do some shots of tequila and that is not a good thing. :biglaugh:

Note to ESPN, how could you keep Sutcliff and let Glanville go.^(*&(*&^%^$%%7

Espn announcers are a bunch Red Sox cheerleaders, especially that Sutcliffe....... the only thing they were missing we're their pompoms. Lol. Pitiful performance.

Sutcliffe: talking shit bout Big Sloppi hitting 2 bombs off of Seve last year. Hey Sutcliffe that had nothing to do with the game being played. Still remember those '84 Playoffs between San Diego & the Cubs. Cubs up 2 games to 0, Sutcliffe says if it got to a game 5 he relish the starters role. Well it happened and he started but the Padres finished. A complete BS artist that guy.

I had to watch Kay, Leiter, and Flash. It wasn't that bad but I got a hair in my ass in the 9th.

...Sutcliffe?...my wife watched the game with me last night and flat out asked me "Where did they get these announcers and WTF are they talking about"?
