I don't think we'll trade up for Zhaire Smith. There's a couple teams that love him, and a lot of teams that aren't high on him. If he doesnt go between 15-17, he could easily fall to us.
 
Not necessarily a fan, but if they use the pick, I think they go with Jacob Evans.
 
I think if they Draft they’re probably not going to go after a “project” again like Zach or ML, and more a guy that they believe is close to NBA ready now, maybe a Sophomore or Junior who’s matured a little big physically.

Yep, most likely, and most likely a 3-D wing as well. That's basically why I guessed Evans. I imagine Hutchison would be their best-case scenario, but he'll likely be gone. Evans might be as well. Khyri Thomas, Melvin Frazier, Keita Bates-Diop all basically fit the same mold. If I could expand my prediction, it would encompass those 5 guys.

If they’re serious about Trying to contend with Dame they either have to trade up to get closer to a “for sure” guy, use the pick to acquire a vet, or get the guy they believe can play legit NBA minutes as a bench player. They can’t afford to go Big man that won’t get minutes, they can’t afford to go project that is all based on how athletic they are. For this scenario where they keep the pick I agree with you totally.
 
Robert Williams is my 1b to Smith.

His defensive awareness + his size: 6'9" with a 7'6" wingspan (!)

Also: we will buy a second round pick and take another of the players that worked out for us.

I’ll play. This trade definitely isn’t happening but I think it’d make sense for both sides.

One trade, split into two.

We trade the Crabbe TPE to Washington for Gortat. Then we trade Harkless, Leonard, and #24 for Otto Porter.

Another option would be to do the Faried deal and package 14 and 24 (along with Hark and Leonard) for Porter.

Another option with Wash would be 24 and Vonleh TPE for Oubre.

I just like Washington as a trade partner. They have two wings I’d love to have.
 
They draft another white guy at 24 who sits on the bench next year.
