I'm sick of hearing about Kawhi Leonard and his temper tantrum

I'm sick and tired of the Warriors

I'm thrilled we won't have to hear about sports in Cleveland ad nauseam anymore

Oh, and yes, sick and tired of Neil Olshey's shtick and the mediocre team he raves about.

The entire Ball family and the fact they are the Kardashians of the NBA....the entitlement the Warriors are all puffed up about...Houston and probably most of all.....that the Lakers will be babied media darlings even if they suck

The one thing that bugs the shit out of me when it comes to watching games, is when a player beds his knees upward so he can wipe his shoes.
I told my kids to stop doing that when they were Junior high!
Looks really stupid and elementary for pro's to be doing.

The players. The refs. The coaches. The fans. Oh, and the ads.

1. Games are too damn long. Each quarter should be 10 minutes and the entire game shouldn't last for more than 90 minutes. Sadly, in America basketball is only an excuse to show commercials.

2. It would be cool not to know who is going to win the championship before the season even started.

I'm sick of all the LA Media Whores who force the Lakers down everyone's throats, and act like the Lakers should have some kind of Card Blanche as far as stripping other team's of their best players, and those teams should just fall in line and like it. Totally sick of the Warriors and the 200 million bandwagoners who act like they've been their team for ever. And last but not least, the lack of a hard cap, and the fact some of these teams facing 100's of millions in tax fines don't give a damn.

TNT/ESPN delayed start times for Blazers games because the preceding mediocre/who gives a crap game went long.

The pretense that the CBA balances out the huge advantage that major market teams have in acquiring talent and, even more, the greater pretense that the league even cares in the slightest about that.

The pumped up sound that crappy NBA venues use to cover for their lousy attendance.

The fact that officials aren’t allowed to correct a call because it’s not reviewable, when they’ve already stopped play to consult video for something that is reviewable. “Yeah, the ball was off the Blazers’ player. Never mind that it went out of bounds because he was mugged.”

nba.com starting to charge for the radio broadcast....should have remained free for any kid without money to at least listen to....grew up with radio broadcasts of all major sports and still prefer radio to major station broadcasts

Okay...here we go:

1. After the opening tip, it is stupid af to have jump balls. A possession arrow is just fine. Too often the ref gives a bad toss or you have a PG jumping with a C or some other not about basketball combination. It's just dumb and not at all exciting.

2. They've gotten better, but the charges (offensive foul calls on the drive) are out of control. I miss the days when you had to be COMPLETELY set to get the call. Now, the offensive guys will be in the air and a guy will sneak in and get the call. I hate it.

3a. Some of the replay stuff seems bizarro. They need to think about it a little more. I like that they check if something was a 3 during commercials. But that Finals call where they overturned the charge (even though LeBron WASN'T set; hypocritical, I know) and completely changed history, was irritating. If that had been against the Blazers, I'd have had nightmares about it. Totally bizarre what they can and can't review or change.

3b. If we are going to do the review thing, the coaches need to be able to throw a flag every once in a while. If a guy, for example, steps out of bounds and then hits a game winner, that's bullshit. There should be a way to intervene.

4. Players either should not be allowed to talk to the refs or only the captains or the coaches on the players' behalf or something else. It's the rough equivalent of having lobbyists. Fuck a whole lot of lobbyist.

5. What else...flopping has gotten a lot better. But still it makes for terrible TV.

6. I'm sick and tired of there not being a super team in Portland.

let them play defense....tired of the fouls called on defenders.....also traveling and palming the ball...a 6 step layup is a turnover according to the rules

ESPN's reporting of the NBA is unbearable. It's sooooo fucking bad. Never anything objective, just adults acting like 7th grade bandwagon fans and trying to use hip lingo, so fucking cringey. They've abandoned any objective opinions to pander to popular demographics. They are the TMZ of sports. Complete garbage.

The officiating.

Coaches who turn the last few minutes of the game into FT shooting contests.
I am not a fan of the intentional foul....if they have it they should make it like a goaltend and turnover...2 pts and the ball..that'll make them think twice about it. Your man beats you downcourt....it's on you.

I think there are too many games. The season should probably be down to 60 games or so - I find that I can not turn into each game at times simply because there are so many of them.

Boo. 48 minutes. No timeouts

Star calls

“Playoff” basketball. Why does the game change all of a sudden?
Because the games mean more and there are no back to backs. Every possession is more important. Depth doesn't matter as much.

James Harden

Kevin Durant

Warriors

Rockets

Flops

Star calls - a foul is a foul call it

Biased officiating

Adam Silver

ESPN/TNT commentators

Late starts to Blazer games on TNT double headers...Blazers are always the 2nd game and tipoff is always delayed.

Super Teams

Evan Turner

Trolls

Overturned calls at the behest of complaining bitching players

Meyers Leonard

Shitty all star games/events

Blazers not winning another championship

Stupid unnecessary elements that make the draft far longer then it needs to be. The newest being draft prospect intros

Neil Olshey

Players getting paid millions and not earning it

The disrepect Portland gets

Not having an all star game in Portland ( see above)

$9-$12 beers at the Rose Garden

The Rose Garden being renamed

Injuries

Lack of parity

Egotistical players

5-8 step layups - traveling is traveling

Moving screens

Etc

The only think I'm sick and tired of is losing. Last season was better than most but the playoffs yet again ended with a loss.
