This is the 3rd time this season the Blazers have won 4 straight. If they win at Boston, that would make it a season-high 5 straight victories, not to mention it would secure a winning road-trip for the Blazers. So this is a huge game and on national TV, no less.

Boston will be on the 2nd night of a back-to-back, flying in from Toronto, so although the Celtics have home court, this advantage will be somewhat mitigated. And although they are sitting in 5th place in the East, we all know Boston has a whole lot of talent, as evidenced by the fact that they are just one year removed from a 55-win season with virtually the same roster.

This is the biggest test on this road trip thus far, so I'm eager to see how well the Blazers play.

Hayward is a bench player? Wow

On my schedule it says 4:30?

If the Celtics lose tomorrow in Toronto that will be 3 losses in a row since the break. I do not want to see that. I will be rooting for Boston tomorrow. I hate facing good teams that are desperate for a win.
Thats a good point.

Like I said in the other thread, the Celtics have been getting their asses handed to them on the road since returning from All Star break. They play the Raptors in Toronto tomorrow. They will likely rest players knowing they have the Blazers on Wednesday at home. They will want a win at home against the Blazers bad. They will want revenge for us beating them in November. That doesn't bode well. That said, the Celtics will be playing a back to back, they will be tired after a long road trip even if they rest guys, so the Blazers need to take advantage.

I bet a change to the original schedule was made.

This game wasn't supposed to be on ESPN originally (it was supposed to be the Pistons at Spurs), so it looks like the Blazers finally made the big time! Or more likely, it's the Celtics that are the draw. Or the fact that the Pistons/Spurs game would be a snooze-fest, so replacing it with any other match-up would increase ESPN's ratings.

Therefore, since the game was moved to ESPN, they changed the tip-off time from 4:30 to 5:00, to move it closer to television prime time.

I think we get a team that is about as good as us but we get them on the second night of a back to back. This means that we have the advantage. I think we'll see a big game from Dame and a big enough game from everyone else to get a win against a tired Celtics team.

In the Bay Area ESPN is showing Spurs/Pistons. Shit.

I am not sure there is an advantage because of the b2b. I have often noticed that the Blazers play very well on the tail end of a back to back..... when the 2nd game is at home. Especially after a loss. The Celtics are too deep for them to have tired legs. The one thing it might help with though is the lack of time for the Boston coaching staff to come with a game plan.
