it's pretty obvious they re-signed him so he wouldn't pull a Kwahi Leonard and cry his way out of Toronto.

How does a guy that’s around basketball as much you end up so clueless? Siakam is better than a lot of the players on that list and is a legit two way player.

start with the fact that Siakam will be making 29M his first season...and that 1st season isn't until next year. So then, the salaries next year:

CJ will make more than Siakam in every season of Siakam's deal (except maybe Siakam's 4th), and neither are "superstars", but Siakam is the only one of those two with a chance to be, however small it is (he's too old to have a huge upside, IMO). He'll be the 30th highest paid player, and the 25th highest paid the following season. But that's assuming that no other players will sign big deals over the next 2 seasons...how likely is that?

looks like Siakam did a little more than just show up in the playoffs. And,unlike CJ, Siakam can actually play some good defense. Many people here were saying that CJ's contract was a good one.

I'd trade CJ for Siakam in a heartbeat, but I doubt that would get a lot of traction around here. In any event, if you think CJ has a decent contract, Siakam's is a bargain
 
I really like Buddy's contract for the Kings. It's declining each year too.

21/5/3 on 46/42/89 shooting splits, in only 32 mpg? Absolutely is worth it. His salary in the final year of that deal is about equivalent to Bazemore's this year.
 
Both are all right contracts. Hield is a big part of Kings future and a perfect fit next to Fox and Bagley.

I was surprised to see that Hield is only 15 months younger than CJ. He was 24 as a rookie

....but, but - CJ can create his own offense. That makes him way more valuable. :rolleyes3:

Buddy's production is almost identical to CJ's. Do you think CJ is worth more than $20M?

I didn't ever post he wasn't better. Simply said he was making superstar money. I then posted the top 10 saleries for comparison. Just saying if he is making as much as true superstars are, something is wrong with the league. You are always kinda angry towards me aren't you? You always kinda come sideways at me, like I stole your milk money or something. Did I hurt you at one point on here and its kinda stuck with you? And I don't think calling somebody "clueless" is a real insult, so I'll let that one slide kid.

It wasn’t an insult, so you got one thing out of it.
 
Really didn’t think Brown would get paid. Thought Boston would offer him $90million and wait until Summer if it is not accepted.

They had to overpay though, otherwise Atlanta would have offered him a max next Summer anyway.
