No time for let up. Win this game and keep pace with Boston.

I don't see any way Howden is on the roster next year.

The reverse jinx works again as Howden sets up Kravtsov.

Plays like that unfortunetly will most probably keep him on the roster over a guy like Gauthier.

Two strong periods. Finish it off with a strong 3rd, and then we move on to other teams.

With Boston sweeping 3 from the Isles and Caps over the long weekend, odds of catching them are very low. At this point the best bet may be catching the Isles. We are 8 behind them right now, but have 3 games left with them. Odds of that are very slim as well, but it may be more likely we make a run at the Isles, especially if the Flyers beat them tonight.

Just put the game on now why did Shesterkin only have two saves

De’Andre for the second game in a row gave the devils a spark. He screen Igor yesterday for some ungodly reason as no one was in front they gave them their first goal and momentum. Today, lazy play to give the Devils their first one today at end of 2nd to change momentum. I know he is a rookie but lazy plays are lazy. Why Bitetto is in the lineup is beyond me. Libor has been playing great on the blue line. Bitetto was on the ice for goals 2 and 3 and was burnt/out of position both times. For the life of me I can’t see why Quinn has lines 2 and 4 set the way they are.

Shesterkin came in to replace AG at the end of the 1st, but Georgiev was ok to start the 2nd. This feels like it's going to be a dagger of a loss in the last few minutes. Too complacent with leads of late.

Thanks. Seems like the Rangers are very sloppy on defense lately

Blackwell Half his games looks good And the other half he looks overwhelmed

They don't seem to understand that Ruff isn't going to let the Devils roll over.

Rookies especially from juniors or college are not used to playing this much hockey anywhere near this level. I doubt Miller is anywhere near as strong or physically fit as he will be in two or three years.

Well if the Islanders lose today that series will have a lot of meaning the Rangers will be only six points behind the scumbag islanders

I agree with that as well which why Miller looks out of gas at times and depends on his reach constantly. Yet, he is logging either the most or second most minutes on the blue line. That is a coaching issue in my humble opinion. Miller no doubt is going to be a stud!!

Whew! Held on for that one but a win is a win. Krav needs to replace Blackwell on line 2 and Blackwell to line 4. Next up isles Tuesday night and I hope not to see bitteto out there again

Hajek Took that hard-hit yesterday if I remember he might’ve been banged up

He will be but right now he makes me very nervous when he’s stickhandling in front of our net and turning it over.

if you notice he does that when tired and makes a lazy/sloppy play. He will learn but coach can’t burn the kid out every game especially when we start playing the better teams during the last few weeks of the season. He will be eaten alive.

Need a better distribution of the minutes. Kids were fresh and playing well and 2 of them scored goals. Vets weren’t and looked exhausted in the third.
We've been saying this all season. I wouldn't expect Quinn to change at this point.

The team keeps winning and you guys keep nit-picking. 13-4-3 in their last 20 games. Miller playing too much, kids not playing enough, D not playing well. My god you guys are absolutely impossible to please. Only shot to make people happy is if they do exactly what you guys want, and win by 5.

Bottom line is the team is playing really well, and has been for a long while now, right at the top of the league. Kids are playing better and better. They will not make the playoffs this season, but that should be the last time we say that for a while I think.

I get it, you guys don't like Quinn, and the team is winning and the kids are playing well and improving, so that's not good for your non-stop Quinn bashing all season. So I know you guys are not allowed to say it, but Quinn has really done a solid job with this team as the kids have clearly been improving and playing some of their best hockey. All good stuff.

They will lose some games down the stretch as 7 of their last 11 are against Boston, Washington, and the Isles. But overall arrow pointing up, and it's an exciting time to be a Rangers fan. Enjoy it.

I also think the Rangers don't take the Devils seriously. However, I think it would have been a good spot to play Reunanen here and give Miller a rest. Hajek probably could use a rest. Reunanen should have been the guy. Not a below average vet who hasn't played forever. Agree, play the kids more. Quinn is still trying to save his job and it shows. I've been a harsh critique on Buchnevich but it seems to me now that he's extremely dangerous one on one and other teams defenseman are starting to back up a lot on him. It's almost has if he has finally figured out how to use his size and reach. I feel at this point that Kreider probabaly should be the guy they would move if dumbass Gorton didn't give out another stupid NMC and limited NTC clause. That Kreider contract is looking horrible right now. Even though he's still our screen guy every PP. I believe they have a ton of money coming off the books next year in Shattenkirk, Hank and Smith. Georgiev might be moved. Gorton if going to have to be smart and lock Fox, Lindren and Kakko up now to 4 year deals at less money than he will in 2 years if he gives them a bridge deal. If he doesn't lock Fox up this year, it's going to cost him about 8 million a year from now.

Play the kids more, give the kids a rest, Quinn coaching for his job. If they lose he gets ripped. If they win he gets ripped. Good times.

Go root for the Flyers tonight, and focus on a must win game Tuesday night against the Isles.
