Hart vs Dwight

Decades of bad takes and thinly disguised rooting against the team - and this is what gets him called out by a player?

You can be critic of CJ and be happy he is gone (I am!) and still be disappointed the Blazers got so little it return. I would much rather see the Blazers get a good deal than argue that the trade proves I was right about CJ.

I'm not Jaynes fan, but Josh Hart's hardly a master of knowing about winning NBA basketball teams. He's never made the playoffs, and teams seem to be better after he leaves (the Lakers and now the Pelicans). It may just be coincidence, but casting stones while in glass houses and all that...

Yeah, it may be a coincidence that the Lakers got better once he left. Nothing at all to do with the Lakers getting Anthony Davis.

And when the Pelicans traded Josh hart, they were (checks notes) 11 games under .500

And they ended the season (checks notes)...10 games under .500.

Which, unless you're using a different form of math, isn't really much "better".

So Pelicans we're 11 games under .500 with Hart and 1 game over .500 without him.

Obviously they did get a lot better from that trade if CJ and Ingram hadn't missed games in there the record would have been a bit better. That's not some knock on Hart though. The dude is a legit two way player but is most likely a 6th or 7th man on a playoff team or contender... unless the other guys starting with him are like some kind of big three or two MVPs or some shit. I like that we have Hart and think him at 13M next season is a good deal.

We actually don't know yet what we got in return. I will wait to be disappointed after several games into next season.

I like Dwight Jaynes and I like Neil Olshey. I also think most people are asshats and have singlehandedly voted this country into hell. What do I know? Oh yeah, Slava Ukraini, Russia is evil. Do I get my idiot points?

he was always an Olshey bootlicker, makes sense.

It's truly amazing how he has been so critical of Dame, Cronin, Stotts, but I couldn't find one critical tweet of Olshey, not one.

Obviously Olshey was one of his sources and he's trying to keep him happy, but even Woj was willing to report on Olshey being under investigation. Dwight just went silent!
