One thing we all know is the NHL loves the Pens. You have to beat them and the refs. OT here we come. Really would like to win this first game to take away a bit of the nerves, and the pressure we'd feel if we were down 1-0 into game 2. Go win in OT and shut-up the refs and the Pens.
 
I’m sorry but this is why hockey will remain a fringe sport and is being surpassed by soccer. That’s an easy to call play. He’s clearly pushed from behind. It’s clearly a goal. If it’s against anyone but this princess Crosby bitch ass team it’s a goal. Fuck this league.
 
The Rangers got robbed. The officials will do everything to make sure the Penguins take game one. I fully expect a bullshit penalty in overtime. Kakko was pushed before his contact with the goaltender. He had no opportunity to avoid him. Toronto is making an assumption he would've made contact without the push. It's nonsense.
 
This is going to end stupidly, i can just feel it.
 
The fact that the goalie and none of the Pens immediately went after the refs tells you they too knew that Kakko was pushed into the goalie
 
It is a joke. 4 PP's to 1 is also a joke. What can you do though. How it is when you play the Pens. Need to put that out of mind and go win in OT. Cannot worry about the sh*t calls right now.

You are 100% right with a bullshit soft ass penalty getting called on us in about the 4th or 5th minute. If they don’t score there, expect another call about 45 seconds after that first PP ends. If they don’t score there then we will get a PP but it will be called short with yet another penalty on us.
 
Hopefully the Rangers don't dwell on it as much as you all do....gotta let it go and get back after in OT. Thats it.

They will have some bullshit explanation for the no goal. Like I said above it's making an assumption not a correct call.
 
Shitty officiating aside, the defense has been atrocious. Gotta fix that if they want to get out of at least the first round.
 
Agreed - out of position, and low % pinches all night. Not smart. I chalk it up to nerves and too amped up. Need to learn from it.
 
Gonna end in the first 5:00 or the last 5:00 minutes of the OT period.
 
Not getting more than a goal in the first gave Pittsburgh momentum.
 
I'm not advocating hurting someone on purpose but when the refs start that shit you might as well make the hits count.
