Hopefully this will break the red jersey curse....I think they'll be better than I initially thought but I'd have gone with a white pinwheel...white on red pops more than black on red in my view. I love that Dame did this though, it shows real investment in the franchise that he wants his brand all over it. Mad respect!

It definitely seems too dark.. the contrast between the red and the black seems likely to make the uniform muddied.
Of course, you get a guy who "knows what looks good" to art direct new uniforms, and it seems unlikely that they'd actually be good.
Much like if you ask your star player to help build a roster, unfortunately.
