I wonder if Bronny on the bench motivated LeBron. If he's not there, will things change?

So I’m new around here, not sure how it works. Just listening to a podcast getting ready for work. They said the Lakers are 3-0. For real? I hadn’t even looked at the standings, I never do actually.
Is this the season long Laker game thread, or just when they play bad? I’m sure they’ll play bad, but didn’t see anything about them being 3-0.
    Thanks

how many games do you guys think lebron and anthony davis will play together this year? i'm worried they didn't have time to receive german horse stem cell treatment in the offseason, what with the olympics and everything.

Crazy you posted this. Twice ‘Bron had mentioned wanting to play all 82 this season. Don’t know why he would, but it’s been brought up. And AD is one bad step from pulling his eyebrows and being out a month.

JJ is for real. Could expect it be if you ever listened to his podcasts. The man is not stupid.

It's not like he was the most athletic guy in the league...

After playing 76 games last year, Davis is really off to a solid start this season... he seems to be healthier now then he was for like a 5 year stretch

Nope, but he was a great shooter and these can be successful in the league with average NBA athletic ability regardless of their BBIQ prowess. JJ is clearly a basketball savant and coaching seems to prove it. He finally managed to make AD the focal point of that team and if you ignore the name on the shirts, they actually show nice movement on offense, it is not a boring team to watch anymore.

I hate to say it, and it's super early, but as far as dumpster fires go...

Lakers started 3-0, and since they've gone 1-4. AD is injured and listed day-to-day. AD and the LeBron have been playing huge minutes, and both played in the Olympics, so look for them to miss more time. And now, there's this:

In addition, JJ just roasted the whole team sans LBJ for lack of effort, and then walked out of an interview because he got a question he didn't like.

    Feels extremely dumpster-firey to me.

the best part is that lakers fans are convincing themselves that their anointed, exceptionalist franchise has a proper sheriff in town! who’s going to bring some accountability to their locker room!

I can’t remember where I’ve heard that before, but it’s something to do with putting an address on it, lol.

But hell they still roll out Bronny during garbage time! Awesome player development. It’s sort of a comedy act like Taco Fall or whatever his name was. He is NOT going to the G league. Daddy won’t have his kid playing in the lowly g league. Brings shame to the family. But a fan fave comedy act is ok.

Edit he went to g league I think

Because I'm so old, this is reminding me a lot of when Magic Johnson tried being coach. They started really fast and then it all fell apart and he quickly decided coaching wasn't for him. Still, we got the story of how Nick Van Exel challenged him in practice and he suited up, played with all the old guys who were still around (Worthy, AC Green?) and demolished the "New Lakers".
