I stay away from that site.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

I don't see the value in trading for Pierce. He's way over that hill and making an insane amount of money. Same goes for KG.

The site is iffy yes but the tweet was a little more reliable, Michael McNamara is the Editor of the ESPN TrueHoop Network site Bourbon Street Shots and not affiliated with Rant to the best of my knowledge

He's only guaranteed 5 or 6 million next season. They'd waive him, it'd be to dump Gordon and add Bradley.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

Someone tweeted that the Clippers may try to open negotiations with the Celts for: Pierce, KG, Bradley (I think) and Doc Rivers for Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Eric Bledsoe.

That card was revoked because you're a minority.

Then he should force a sign and trade with the Heat!

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

I don't like that idea for Boston. They need a full rebuild, and giving away Bradley will hurt in that respect. In terms of trade value, I'd rank Bradley > EG. And not to mention the year or two of PP they're giving away in addition.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

Yeah, i'd rather have Bradley at this point.

Curry/Thompson/Barnes + Howard could be scary good.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

I want Howard on Hawks. Get him out of West

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

Dwightmare is going to drag this on.

Clippers have now "no interest" in Howard.

His severe nerve damage turned him into late-career Antonio Davis.

Yeah, but with Howard as the "Veteran Leader" of that group, my guess is that they take a step backward. Howard needs to go to a team with a solid veteran leader to push him. Even then he might not be as good as his stats indicate.

Well, there is also David Lee. But I have a feeling that Mark Jackson would be all the leader that Howard would need. To date, Dwight's really only played for old white guy coaches (Brian Hill, SVG, D'Antoni). He might respond completely differently to a young, black coach who was in the league as recently as 10 years ago.

Man, that sounds like something Chris Paul would say...

Man, his injury might be undersold, but Antonio Davis? That's just brutal...

(and for the record, Antonio Davis was the man, but c'mon... that's harsh)

Antonio Davis? Really?

I think the fact that they're both vocal God-botherers might also factor in.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

It would definitely take one of Thompson or Barnes to get him. Is Klay/Barnes, Bogut, and one of Festus/Draymond enough? Once Utah uses our draft pick we can start throwing in 1st rounders too.

Dwight being double down low with Curry (and Klay?) on the perimeter would be tough for any team. Lee seems like a pretty good fit next to Howard and apparently he can shoot 3's, he just chooses not to take them in games.

This whole rumor has started an interesting debate among GS fans regarding who they'd prefer to keep long term between Klay and Barnes. I really kind of fell in love with Klay late this season. His statline is typically not very impressive but you watch the guy play and you can't help but like him. Plays his ass off on defense, can do a little bit of everything, of course he spaces the floor really well, etc. That said, Barnes showed some big time flashes in the POs and looks like he can develop into a guy who can get a good look on any possession. As good as Curry and Klay are, they don't get to the rim much and they don't have much of an answer in situations where they need to get the ball and get a high % look.

Re: 2013 Official NBA Off-season Movement & Rumors

Klay is much less replaceable than Barnes. Barnes is Mr. Average. Every team has one: he's the Trevor Ariza. Thompson, on the other hand, is a rare combination of elite shooter (and not just spot up, because all Arizas shoot spot up threes) and surprisingly solid defenders. Thompson oozes class.

That's a good point. Of course it isn't because Jackson is black, just that he is a strait shooter with loads of experience. He also survived the NY fans, so he should be able to take on anything.

http://thunderousintentions.com/201...rades-jeremy-lamb-okc-thunder-victor-oladipo/

Will the Thunder think about trading Lamb on the day of the NBA Draft before even giving him a shot in the NBA?
We have to think this is a possibility. The Thunder will have the 12th overall pick in the upcoming draft. I’ve been saying all along that if they see someone they like in the draft, they have the tools to move up and go after him. One of the tools is Lamb and the idea of trading him.
A player like Victor Oladipo is an intriguing one. He looks like a player who can come in and play right away. We know he is an elite athlete that should be able to become a very solid defender quickly in the NBA, meaning he could see more early playing time than most of the recent Thunder rookies.
