I'll take him if they also send back Kyle Anderson or one of their stashed big men.

Who cares, I mean really? Good for them. They can sign Gasol to a stupid contract instead of us.

We are blazer fans, we are the ultimate masochists. Nothing good happens and we get beat, but are told to like it because "hey at least the team isn't in Seattle lolz"

I'd actually take him too if we could get Anderson AND Bob(an) in a S&T (or really just make SA not fight our offer to him if we take Boris).

The only sport worth a damn anymore, football... At least ANYONE can win in the NFL, I'm serious about that too... All it takes is a few good drafts with a good coach and any team can win unlike the NBA.

At this point I would just offer Boban 4/36 and bring back Crabbe, Meyers, Harkless and call it a day... I just want this to end so I can stop refreshing my phone every minute for updates... My eyes hurt lol

It isn't even a game any more guys..... it's a glorified pickup leagues where you get one of your buddies to switch teams every season. I love the Blazers but I'm not going to pretend that this is a winnable aystem. And let's enjoy Dame and CJ because the clock is running folks. I'm just never going to put a positive spin on being a fan of an small market NBA team. There is no tomorrow. It's like La Liga, there's Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico, and the rest are feeder clubs.

The NBA is no different than La Liga... There's whatever team LeBron is on, the Warriors and the Spurs. KD going to the Warriors is like Messi giving the dueces to Barcelona and going to Real Madrid.

Yeah but there is a major difference.
Teams like Seville can win the Europa, Copa Del Ray and Supercup. They may not win the major titles but they have a chance at lesser domestic honors. Also, the league has enough talent for lesser talents to stay. There are longtime on teams that keep fan interest because there's enough talent to go around. Not every player can be a "Galatico." Even the MLS realized this with DP rules and made it hard for better players to leave. The Portland will probably have to sell Adi for $$$$ but Nagbe and Valeri aren't going anywhere. You're going to see the MLS become a lot more popular in the upcoming expansion.... esp in small markets.

Poor Neil. He's probably feeling like Jack Elam in Support Your Local Gunfighter whenever he draws to outdraw James Garner.

And Blackburn..... what 20 years ago...... and they bought a ton of players. That is a one in a billion chance that never happen again. Thr exception proves the rule here. The PL is the worst possible example.
